Brought my mower for tuneup (no issues just looking for tuneup) at the end of the mowing season. They said it needed a carburetor and replaced it. When we got it back, it was hard to start, but we thought it would get better, if not surely ACE would fix as follow-up to their work. Instead it got worse, when the next mowing season started the mower took about 30 pulls to start. I took it back. Ace wanted to charge me all over again. Definitely do not take anything for repair unless you can immediately thoroughly test it. Working with corporate to resolve - the store not standing behind the work - store standing behind fine print (I guess never seen or told anything) on very short warranty period (given two different answers on how long it is). Now the store has added a previously unknown diagnostic charge. Not trying to resolve, just trying to extract as much money as possible.

Stopped by here on my lunch break because its near my job, and that was enough to get me hooked on this place. Dont think Im ever setting foot in Lowes or Home Depot again. Greeted by at least three people on my way in and offered help right after I went to aisle where I thought product I needed was going to be. Glad this happened because I was not in the right aisle. At Lowes or Home Depot I wouldve spent about 10 minutes looking for product in the wrong aisle and then another 10 trying to hunt down someone to ask them where to find product. Great selection and service that cant be matched by the bigger stores. Will have to try popcorn next time Im there.

I have purchased Christmas lights on 12-7-12 and today 12-13-12 tried returning them since I did not use them. To my surprise I was told that since the 10th they stopped receiving returns on Christmas items. Well, at no point I was told of such thing neither the receipt states anything like that. What blew me off was that they told me that I could go to the Woodlands store and return my items there even when they claimed the Stores have no association. I find it very dishonest. For sure I not shopping there anymore.

Bought a XL Big Green Egg , thought about the Big Joe Kamado for less money with more accessories. Like the idea of supporting local businesses , as well as having customer service. Jason the manager was great, answering all my questions, and finalizing the sale. Delivery was on time and great Had an issue with dome, shifted. Jason sent Mitchell out right away and took care of adjustments. So I feel good having had a good experience with everything overall Thanks Jason for great service

This place is freakn amazing. So much variety and many great brands. You can buy food and drinks on the way out to stay cool in the summer and get some noms. I think i was offered help 5 times in 10 minutes and all the stuff was super friendly and helpful. This particular Ace Hardware represents a true Texas store! I do not think I can ever got back to home depot and lowes unless I need something Ace does not carry.

This place is so stressful. I appreciate the workers positivity and helpfulness, dont get me wrong. But I dread going in there because i know i will be hounded at least 5 times asking if i need help. It must be over staffed but please leave me alone! Also everytime i am in the spray paint aisle i dont need an old man working there tell me i have to be 18 to buy spray paint, im 26 but thanks for the heads up

Bought this part from Ace for $3.99 Lowes price is $2.49 however great service at Ace. Would be nice if the local merchant could be a little closer in price to the big oligopoly. I shop here often. This store has a little bit of everything, friendly staff, and good popcorn. They stock hard-to-find items, and they seem to have an unusually good selection of gift type things and animal feed. I also rented the carpet cleaning machine, and it works reasonably well. You can get cold beer, too. The prices are a little higher than some places, but its small business.

Such a fabulous neighborhood hardware store! It has it all, truly. I remember cruising the aisles of a similar hardware store with my grandpa when I was a kid. Youll find something that will fascinate you, and any member of your family, alongside all the necessities you want from your local hardware store. A true gem of a place!

So I was looking for very specific bolts. O went to lowes and homedepot. Both did not have. Someone recomened me to ace hardwear. First experience in this this store was awesome even at 7:30 in the morning they where very helpful and happy to help me I will more than happy to drive to extra miles to come here

First time visit today to mail a box, the mail dept only takes cash really nice attendant he suggests that if you must use your debit card you have to go to the front registers to get cash back. Ace Mart surprisingly has such a HUGE variety of things. My husband and I loved it will be back soon!

Went to return a dolly and the manager there is a joke their return policy says nothing about dollies yet he belittled me in front of other customers Ive been there multiple times since I was a child buying things and thats how they treat customers
