I googled The Home Depot, Conroe, Texas. Found the lawn mower I wanted and called Home Depot headquarters because I do not like to order items online...especially costly ones. A very nice rep got on the phone with me and I asked her to look at what I was looking at. It said there were two of these driving mowers available. She contacted the store to confirm and I made my purchase...in excess of a thousand dollars. We got notice that day and again later that the mower could be picked up at any time. I told the store thru the rep that we would pick it up today before noon. We made the hour plus drive and came in with proof of purchase and ID. They did not know what we were talking about and had no mowers of this kind. They did have the brand, larger mowers....a whole line of them with RECALL stickers on them. After about an hour, the store discovered that our item was about 7 miles down the freeway at ANOTHER CONROE Home Depot. Why would Home Depot not be very careful in this respect and make it clear that they have two stores listed in Conroe when one really is The Woodlands. We decided not to go pick up the mower because of all the recall signs all over the others. This store had a John Deere but it cost us abot $600 more. They had one. Then we had to spend another hour and a half standing there with their staff making a paper transfer because our mower was in another Home Depot and really never picked up. What a mess. The people in the Conroe store....where we bought the other more expensive mower worked hard and long an took up over two and a half hours straightening this out. HOME DEPOT HEADQUARTERS, GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER AND MAKE CLEAR ON YOUR SITE THAT YOU HAVE TWO STORES IN THE SAME CITY BUT NOT REALLY.

Horrible Horrible Horrible costumer service!! I was given a price over the phone on turf when I went to check out it was another price. So the employee called for a manager, manager told her he was too busy to take care of it herself. I left empty handed. I called the next morning to talk with the general manager (wasnt available) so talked with another manager. She implied that I wasnt an honest person and told me she believes her employee over me. (I reported the turf price tag wasnt showing, and was told over the phone price). She was very rude and sarcastic. I hung up and called corporate!! Now they took care of it. Called store right then and had them take care of the issue. So I thought I go in a few days later and get the stare downs from the employees, one even ignored me completely. Im thinking whatever. Then I get my Saw stolen! Thats right!!!! Im loading my car up and tying down material on the the roof of my car, I go to grab my new saw and it was gone. I go in to report the issue and all I got was inconvenient attitude! I called the police and made a report. This Home Depot store needs some serious costumer service training. I have only put up with this because there close to my house. I will go to Lowes from now on.

I will summarize this HORRIBLE experience. As for the product, cannot rate or review since I never received it. Ordered this item 5/23, notified it shipped 6/2, heard nothing or 6 days, promised delivery was 6/9. Called freight handler AAA Cooper and they said that I needed an appt for delivery (guess that is the customers job to call them?), so I made appt for 6/9. Truck never showed, never a call. I called AAA, they didnt return my call until 6/12. No explanation for missee delivery. Rescheduled for 6/13. Once again, never showed. I finally canceled because I was getting no where with Home Depot or AAA Cooper. Neither party was apologetic, neither party went out of their way to rectify the problem even though it was now 4 days past the promised delivery date. I canceled this order a week ago and I still have not received my refund. It has been nearly a month since I placed the order!!! As a card holder and frequent shopper, this has been a customer service nightmare and Home Depot has lost my business until they fix their customer service. I have never been through anything like this and that says a lot considering 90% of all purchases I make are online.

My wife, Stelle, and I wish to commend your sales associate, Maryanne Cowart, for her assistance in our purchasing a washer and dryer on December 3, 2013. She was very professional, had extensive knowledge of the different brands, excellent communicator, great personality. and appeared to enjoy her job. We were in the store 3 times to talk with Maryanne before we actually made the purchase. I would do research on the different washers and dryers and had questions for Maryanne. She knew the correct answers every time! At other stores you do not find a sales associate who has all the attributes of Maryanne. She is, indeed, a tremendous asset to your sale staff!

We were here at 8pm on a Tuesday and no lanes were open at all causing a huge line at the self check out. One of the self checkout lanes chip reader did not work and had a little handwritten sign saying to re insert your chip 3 times if it doesnt work the first time? The other lane had no cash leaving 2 maybe full service lanes. We have 2 big fans and had to lift them to checkout because no one was available to scan them for us. You guys dont close for 2 more hours.. why is there no lanes open and a bunch of employees in the store? It makes no sense

I have always used Home Depot and Home Depot ONLY for the past 10+ years. We own rental property business and have NEVER had a problem with anything from returns to finding everything, in stock, when. The staff/employees are always helpful, take us to where the item(s) are at and even take the larger items. Recently we had bought a new set of Dryer, Washer. and refer, after 6 different reefers delivered, no questioned asked. I WILL ALWAYS use HOME DEPOT. LOWES does NOT EVEN come close to the service and personal server

Started process to have our kitchen counter tops replaced with new laminated counter tops on April 29th, 2015 by Home Depot Installation services. Full payment was required at that time. Without going into all the horror stories, as of yesterday June 08, 2015 the job had not even started. Home Depot AND their contractor screwd up at every turn. I finally had had enough and went in and canceled the job and got a refunded. I would NOT recommend Home Depot to my worst enemy for any kitchen countertop job. Look elsewhere!!

They have everything you need but nails and screws are very expensive. If you need nails, screws, compressors or anything having to do with building, I highly recommend brannens Inc located off of 2854 1/4 mile away from the free way. Very friendly management, everybody knows what you need for any type of project your doing all of the way from framing a house to building a bird house. Anything and everything. The address is 101 Amanda st Conroe TX 77304
