The mall is nice and clean inside. However the exterior is starting to run down. Sad. Most of the stores seem to cater to teens. There have been lots of changes since I was last here. The food court was the busiest part. One thing I noticed from walking around was people on their smart phones and I mean all ages and beer few with packages in hand. I fear that this mall is going to continue to decline. They need to realize that the teens dont have the disposable income to keep their stores open. I would suggest more events to make people want to visit the mall and make an evening of it. One great thing is the theater closed in December. Yes that was good. It needed to. Amc bought it and they are reopening in the fall with all new seating and totally revamping it. The cost in the millions they claim. The seats will be leather recliner like Moviehouse and Eatery on Hwy 620. They have to step up and do it right as right beside it is packed all the time, Alamo Drafthouse. I am including photos of between Sears and Dillards. This is supposed to be inviting? Dirt beds, trash, plastic bottles. What an ugly mess. I couldnt help but take photos. The only reason I give it 3 stars is the location is good. Sears Auto center is a plus as I have had good experiences with them. I have bought appliances there at Sears too. This mall had so much potential. The other negative is there are way too many apartments surrounding it now. It has caused a traffic nightmare in the mornings and evenings on Lakeline Blvd and dumps more cars in an already congested area. As the trend continues. One Asian food place at the food court was boarded up. Subway was closed too. There still are 3 Asian food places there which I find extremely odd. There were 4. Are we in Asia?? They need to do better to attract different food places there. I hope this helps.

After moving to Austin from California, in the mid-80s as a little kid, this Mall and all the shops around it didnt exist whatsoever (If you can believe it, there used to be a kmart and where 183 AND 45/RR620 intersect, there was one stop light; things have certainly changed !). Anyway, after they built Lakeline (with its many stores surrounding it, it is a "Mega Mecca of shopping"), it was a pleasant surprise since Austins main mall at the time was Highland Mall which, due to certain "elements," (just see Youtube & just search for: "Fights at Highland Mall"; note: Im just pointing out the truth, thats all) has effectively ruined that mall and it is now a ghost mall. There was always Barton Creek which is also nice but LAKELINE is, hands down, the nicest mall in Austin. Although ive moved back home (Out of State) and though I no longer live in Austin, I continue to visit this mall each time I come to Austin, I sincerely hope it wont meet the same fate Highland Mall with certain bad teens coming to this NICE wmall who dont belong here. Hopefully security at this mall will prevent the same thing from happening using any force...by any means necessary!

+Alittlebitthis alittlebitthat Acctually its a good mall with great customer service. None of the teenagers really act stupid, most of them are good, I should know because I go there alot, and Im a teenager. One thing to also tell you is that the mall smells good. the food qaurt and all the smelly shops block out any "bad smells" in lakeline. Youre also one to be talking about being judgmental? Look at you, your judging the people and the mall its self AND on top of that its with untruthful information. I know you just want to make a bad review about the lakeline, but its not going to work. I have seen them clean the carpets, the people are always smiling at you, it smells great (which why would the smell matter in the first place?), the customer service is great. Everyone that works there is Trying to make money, not go "hey I dont like anyone go away" Thats not how you attract customers, so you sir are a snake, liar, attention seeker...Should I go on? I have plenty of other words to describe you right now.

Dont like this Mall full of teenagers acting stupid! And peaplo that think theyre rich just because theyre shopping there. Some of the store like Sears peaplo are rude. Others your ask for help they say I will be right back but never came back to help you! Others store are dirty with dusty and nasty carpet! I dont understand why a public store have carpet. When it rains the smell is so bad on store like Macys and JC PENNY and others store that is used as a entrance because everyone that comes in bring water and arr the smell is very bad. Plus the ladies on the perfume and jewelry is rude and look at you from your feet to your head and you can see their judgment about you! If youre dressed nice they will kiss you #$% but if not they will try everything to make you go away! On all those department store is the same thing!

If you have kids, Lakeline mall is definitely one of the best in the Austin area as it has plenty of amenities to keep them occupied and engaged. There are several kid-related vendors/activities, including a train, bouncy place, and trampolines. It also has a play area that is especially popular with the little littles. All of that aside, the mall does have a good mix of larger retailers as well as some local businesses. Mall management does a very good job of keeping things fresh and clean. I gave it four stars instead of five mainly because it doesnt really feel as upscale as other malls in the area...more utilitarian, but sometimes thats exactly what you need. Lastly, dont forget about the farmers market that takes place every Saturday morning!!!

Ive been going to Lakeline mall for about 10 years now. It hasnt changed much--its a local hangout for a lot of teenagers, so be ready for that kind of crowd. Theres always a series of stores that move in and then move out within a few months, some of which can be relatively interesting but just cant get enough business. The department stores (Macys, Dillards, JC Penny, etc) are all okay, kind of what you expect for that sort of thing. Mostly, its just an okay sort of hangout place, not terribly interesting or anything. Barton Creek is more upscale and lacks the teenage crowd, but its much further south and tends to be more expensive.

I have always enjoyed this mall. A few additional shops have come to Lakeline. I believe that made a good difference in the atmosphere and shoppers now. I look forward to seeing some movies at the new movie theater when it opens later this year. There are a variety of shops now that are terrific for any age. Brighton Collectibles is my favorite store by far to shop in and the food court is always nice to grab a bite to eat. Wonderful to have a Starbucks, Chick-fil-a, Smoothie Paradise (ice cream too), and other good food places too. If its too hot outside, raining, or just want to window shop, Lakeline is perfect!

I worked in this mall setting up a white house black market clothing store, while I was there I found all kinds of shops I had forgotten about by just driving to local strip malls. In the food court is a universal free charging station with every kind of phone plug in imaginable. Didnt even need my charger. They also had free wifi that was reasonable fast considering the amount of traffic in the mall at the time. They didnt have a internet cafe yet but were putting in a Starbucks and are continually expanding with new shops opening up. Plenty of parking with alot of other shopping close by.
