Excellent. Paul was very patient, even when i felt that i was not picking up certain techniques or information in a timely manor. But Paul never made me feel rushed and actually encouraged me to put safety ahead of speed. As should be done. Very hands on. You cant beat this mans credentials, Im glad i chose canyon lake divers.

Great shop! Locally owned and operated. Owner got me out of a tough spot recently when I needed a tank filled to test SCBA regulators and no one else could help me for over a week. He even loaned me a tank. I highly recommend this shop.

Paul is a great instructor with a funny sence of humor. Canyon Lake Divers is the most cost efficient in the area (including San Antonio) for certifications, and he even lets to use his gear for 1 full year after getting certified.

Shop is NEVER open even when the hours are posted on the door. Went 5 times during different days and hours and door is always locked. Dont go because you will waste your time!

To expensive. Most dive shops include the books and equipment in the price of the class. You can fully certified for $350-$400 books and equipment included.

As the reviews mentioned, never open. Called voicemail is appropriate " if we didnt answer were out diving" durning business hours. Wont be back.
