I brought in my old iMac for repair. They told me it would be a $99 diagnostic fee to figure out what was wrong. They even told me that it was possible that it would be unrepairable since it was so old, but if it was repairable, and I chose to have them repair it, they would wave the $99 diagnostic fee. They called me and said that 1 of the 2 RAM modules had gone bad, but that it was ok because they could put a 2gig stick in the other side and it would be even faster. He quoted me over the phone that the price would $79. I was very happy to hear this and I told him to go ahead and do it. Well when I showed up to pick it up the bill was $180 plus taxes. I was pretty confused. Well guess what? They charged me the $99 dollars anyway, but labeling it as a standard bench fee instead. I was somewhat upset (as you might imagine) and proceeded to tell them that fee was not ever discussed with me. And to top it all off, my mac runs worse than it did before. Running on one 2 gig stick is horrible for any video or basic games. Im very frustrated with this company and would not recommend anyone getting a repair done from them. Pay the extra money to have Apple do your repair. Apples customer care service and focus is unmatched by Hardin Computer.

I have a 5 year old iMac. The hard drive was going out. I took it to the Apple store in Southlake, and was told that Id need to replace that 2TB drive with an equivalent one for a cost of over 400 dollars. The tech guy, (Apple Genius) told me that

I came in for a repair of my IMAC, and dealt with Jennifer and Hugo. Jennifer was super nice, responsive and professional to deal with. Based on the fact that I got the computer back two days later, and it now works perfect, after it could not even boot I am obviously recommend Hugos work as well. I also appreciated that the handled things very careful to assure no scratches or dings on anything. Great shop/experience, and where I will take all my computer needs in the future. They also helped me with some recommendations for new monitors, and following that I advice picked up some great additions to the IMAC as shown on the picture. P.s I can now see why Apple recommended me to go here for my computer service/repair needs. Thanks again guys, and have a great day!

Took my laptop in that wasnt working and they had it repaired and fixed for me good as new! It was still under warranty and so they fixed it at no charge. I had taken it to the Apple Store in Fort Worth and they told me that they would fix it, but it would cost me $800 and tried to make me buy a new laptop. They told me that my warranty was void because the indicators showed "water damage" even though not so much as a drop has ever gotten on that laptop. I am SO GLAD I left and went to Hardin, I will be going to them for any computer issues I or my entire office have from here on out. They were honest, the way it should be done. Thank you again!

If you are looking for honest, fast and high quality work, and you dont have time to wait on Apple for 3-5 business days and/or you are hoping you dont need to replace your entire logic board, dont go anywhere other than Hardin computer. Had water spilled on my keyboard. I paid the fee to expedite the service. Hardin opened my laptop and cleaned/dried out all the components within 3 hours. I didnt have to replace expensive parts. The service is not super cheap but considering I still saved a bunch by not replacing my logic board and got my computer back within a few hours, Im very happy!

My MacBook Pro had slowed to a crawl, fraught with "disk full errors" and a dead end after more than an hour talking with Apple phone support. Within 30 minutes of walking into Hardin, my machine was up and running. I had a quote for additional RAM that Ive saved in case I need to go that route in the future. Most impressively, Hardin gave me a free solution I could use today to keep the disk full issue from happening again. Many thanks to Hardin! After a really bad customer experience at an Apple store, I wanted to go to a small shop to get my Macbook repaired. When I came to Hardin computer, there was no line. The lady at the desk was very careful to understand what the issues with my laptop were. After I came back to pick up my computer, she even double checked the laptop bottom to confirm that a defect was removed. The technician was also very honest about what could and couldnt be done. Excellent service and price! After getting diagnosed by an Apple store that my legacy MacBook might need a new hard drive (which they could fix due to a legacy parts issue), Hardin Computer noted that I only needed a new hard drive cable to get my system back online. They were also able to replace my failing battery with no additional delays. The Hardin team had me back up and running in less than 24 hours. I highly recommend Hardin Computer and will work with them again if the need arises.

Hardin Computers is a 10/10. Fast, Friendly, and Reliable. I would highly recommend them to anyone having computer/phone difficulties! I was having issues with with my Mac Book Pro. Apple told me I needed to buy a new computer, but Hardin was able to recover everything. All I needed was a new cord for my hard drive. The best part was they repaired everything for FREE! Apparently, everything was covered under warranty. The staff at Hardin computers are the real superheroes.

Took my 7 year old computer to Hardin Computer to upgrade OSX. Rick was very honest about what might happen on an older computer and took the time to explain what my options were. I decided to get the upgrade and leave it in the hands of the experts. By 5:00 pm that afternoon, my computer was all updated and in great condition. Its like having a brand new computer! My Macbook Pro needed a new battery but the computer was too old for the Apple Store to replace it. They recommended Hardin Computer- I called them and took the computer right in. They had the repair complete in 30 minutes. The location in Arlington is convenient and staff helpful. I will definitely use them again.
