Went to buy a car that was there on consignment and the guys at the store had the worst attitudes about my request to see the vehicle operate before I purchased it. Now I dont know about you but unless Im buying new out the box I dont think it is strange, unusual, or out of the ordinary to see the product perform before I make a comittment to buy anything. One guy asked me do I want to buy it. Really........... Now I called twice before I came to the store. Once to find out more about the vehicle (no one knew too much but its consignment so I understand) and a second time to let them know I was coming and wanted to see the vehicle operate before I would purchase it. So I get there and I speak with one of the guys and let him know the situation and he looks at me and says something like "ok so what would you like me to do" or something to that effect and it just proceeded to go down hill from there. So I explain to him and another guy that entered the conversation that I would like to see the car run before I purchase it. I dont buy anything used before I see it work or have some sort of guarentee that it works and if it doesnt it can be returned. So the new guy tells me well it was checked out when we took it in and your at the wrong shop if you think we would do something like that. Do you want to buy or not? Would you ask Best Buy something like that? (keep in mind Best Buy does not sell Consignment items) We wouldnt sell something knowing it does not work. At this point hes taking my request as a attack on the character or reputation of his establishment. I explained to him that I sell automobiles for a living (and do quite well if I do say so myself) and I would never expect a customer to buy a car from me if they have not driven it first. And he tells me these are not $10,000 cars. And after I told him Listen to me I dont care who you are and what you selling if it is used and you cant show me it works Im not buying it. I let him know there are other Hobbie Shops in the Mid TN area and they may be more appreciative of my business. And he said fine you can leave. Ill continue to buy online from EBay........... dont have to deal with the poor customer service.

First time I have actually noticed the reviews for Danielles on this page. Danielles is a very small hobby shop but they have a lot of products and support for this hobby. This hobby can be a complex at times. I am sure that there are some people that really dont understand what they are really asking for when they visit ANY hobby shop. It appears the friends of local competitors to Danielles are creating bogus accounts on Goggle, and then giving Danielles and Wayne bad ratings here. Shame on you jerks who havent got anything better to do then give a very needed local small business are hard time, by posting ridiculous ratings on google reviews. For the real record... Wayne is very knowlegable, a nice guy, and is glad to help you, and so is his wife. Dont believe all of the negative reviewers here. They are ALL agenda driven.

Family run by an awesome family. They keep a big inventory of just about everything you could need/want for RC. Prices are extremely close (or identical) to Internet prices. Owner is really cool and easy to talk to. They have the most easily navigated product racks Ive ever seen, and they have hours that NORMAL PEOPLE CAN ACTUALLY WORK WITH. lol. Stopping in after 5 every day is no biggie. You can tell the guy sat down and asked himself, "What is everything wrong with a regular hobby shop?" And then he tried to fix all that. My immediate reaction to needing something used to be an Amazon or hobby king order, but now I immediately want to see if they have it, first. These guys have my business through and through.

I cant put into words how wonderful this place is. Need help with a drone? No problem. Need help with a rc car? No problem. Need help with a rc plane? No problem. Want to get into one of those hobbies? No problem. These guys know it all. When I go in, I get greeted by a staff that is very knowledgeable on everything RC. They know what it is to spend one on one time with their guest. You cant go online and touch and hold items that you may want to buy. You dont always know what you are getting online. Vivid aerial is not much different in price then online stores. I highly recommend you stop here for your hobby needs. I cant say enough good things about these guys.

Fantastic people and great customer service. I bought some stuff they really didnt know they had for my vintage heli and after I figured out those parts wouldnt work they took them back for a 100% refund. I of coarse spent the whole refund in there store that day. But they could have very easily said they would not refund the 400 worth of vintage stuff . And they did!!!!!!! In my book that is spectacular. I recomend them for and of your r/c needs if your looking for a pair of old crystals or a state or the art drone or gas or electric plane or boat etc. they are your hobby store. Also they can soldier the smallest of smallest . Very good people at vivid aerial

Cannot say enough about this place. I crashed my drone during a shoot and was fully expecting to have to purchase a new one because I had no clue this place was even here. Read the reviews and everyone said it was incredible. I could not agree more and could not of had a better experience. I had planned on having to leave my drone for several days, but I was in and out in less than 30 min. They are certified with DJI to do repairs and their techs are incredibly knowledgeable on all products. They even have an awesome airplane simulator to mess with wile you wait. If you ever have any issues with your drone, rc, or anything then this is the place to go!

I am new to drones and bought my first one, a Phantom 4 Pro Plus, online, because at that time, they were not out in the local stores. After buying my P4P+, a friend recommended that I get a set of FPV Fat Shark goggles. I needed a lot of guidance and was encouraged to call Vivid Aerial RC for help. No place here in Birmingham has the quality people and support that they do. With their guidance, I purchased the FS goggles from them. They have been absolutely awesome! What was known as Danielles R/C Hobby Shop is now under new management and owners. It is now Vivid Aerial RC, and they have transformed the place to represent the most up to date in model aircraft and RC technology. Not only do they carry everything you need for fixed wing model aircraft and RC cars, but they specialize in multi rotor aircraft as well. They offer training and demonstration on their products too. These guys are very friendly and knowledgeable in this hobby and if they dont know the answer, they can find it for you. The much needed renovation of the store has breathed new life for this hobby shop.
