WORST WAL-MART EVER! This place is an absolute joke, just because youre on the West Side of the city doesnt mean you can let it all go to Hell. This place is an absolute dump, I mean filthy, it looks as if it has never been cleaned. The floors, the shelves, everything covered in dirt, spilled liquids and mess. The staph here are some of the most worthless creatures I do believe I have ever encountered. At any given point in time you can find at least ten people outside smoking, just sitting there, and while theyre doing that only 2 registers are open checking people out with lines down to the other end of the store. The people here are rude, uncouth and very unfriendly to the customer. Often the employees know less about the items or their whereabouts than the customers asking! The electronics section might as well be manned by a trained monkey, all they do is sit back there, chat and ignore the customers. Granted there are one or two older employees that are nice and helpful but thats it. I also dont know where they get off calling security and threatening to call the police on a customer over a return saying the customer was getting violent and I was watching the whole time and I didnt see anything of the sort, but CSA called this large henchman out (might have been a woman, creepy I know) and had them ready to grab and drag out this innocent gentleman who by the way he was dressed shouldnt have been in a Wal-Mart to start with, nor should I have, but I digress...Moral of this story/review is to avoid this place like the plague and youll be a whole lot happier for it. You drive up the road a few minutes to Martinsville or down to Bedford and its like night and day. Clean stores, friendly and helpful staff, its amazing. This Wal-Mart needs to get its act together and clean up, but by the record and looks of things it seems that the management just does not care.

I was at this Wal-Mart yesterday with some of my friends when I noticed an older man following us around. I tried to go into new sections of the store but he continued to follow us around, even stopping behind me for around 30 seconds while I looked at lipstick. I told my friends he was following us, so we went to check out and leave. The man followed us to the self-check out and stood very close to us. While checking out, a different man approached me and informed us that the man had been taking pictures up my shorts and of my butt. I immediately went to the supervising manager and told him what happened and he said there wasnt anything he could besides file a report and suggest that the man leave. One of my friends went and told the security guard what had happened and he laughed out loud and said, "well thats not good," and took a brief description of the guy. I was asked to recount the encounter once more to another employee who didnt even write anything down and gave me looks suggesting that if I hadnt worn shorts, this wouldnt have happened to me. I was sexually violated in this Wal-Mart and they did nothing but laugh and victim shame and Im proud to say I will never be shopping in this, or any Wal-Mart ever again.

Ok, let me start off by saying that I NEVER write reviews for places of business, but this one deserves it. This is by far the WORSE Wal-Mart Ive ever been to. My husband and I went there so i could get a fishing licence for the weekend and when we finally found someone to help us at the sporting goods section he stated that he would page someone. After about 10 minutes he finally did, but you couldnt even tell what he was saying on the intercom. We waited at that desk for probably 20 more minutes while one of us walked around trying to find someone to help us, and we couldnt find anyone. I eventually said screw it and left without my license. I seriously think I could have loaded a cart full of stuff and just walked out without anyone noticing, thats how bad it was. THEN we got to the checkout. The lines were a mile long and there were only 4 registers open ON A FRIDAY! Im glad that I dont live near that store, cause I dont think I could handle going to that sad excuse of a "super-center" for my daily needs. Heres a tip for that Wal-Mart: hire some people that actually pretend that they like their job and want to help people.

I have lived in Bloomington for 3 years, and since the Walmart is right around the corner from my house, I shop there quite a bit out of convenience. On several occasions I have had unpleasant experiences with their employees. When I ask for assistance from an employee on the floor, the response is usually a heavy sigh as if I am a waste of their precious time. Today I called to see if they had a particular item in stock and was treated very rudely and interrupted while trying to explain what I was looking for. Although Walmart is a huge discount chain that no one realistically expects good service from, I still expect to be treated somewhat decently. Even though I save money shopping for my groceries there, today was the last straw and I will pay extra and drive further to shop where people at least pretend to give a crap about their customers.

I went to the photo department to print 4 photos. The machine was slow, but I was ok with that, I could deal with a slow machine. Once I printed my photos I still needed help and the person who was working there when I arrived was no where to be found. I sat on the bench for thirty minutes when someone from electronics finally came over. I stood up to the counter and was completely ignored. By that point I had it and left to check out with my other items. I complained to a customer service supervisor in yellow and she was nice and helpful and tried to make it right. She sent an assistant manager back there to help. He made excuses as to why I had a bad experience and made it seem like its not Walmarts fault. I paid for my 4 photos and left. I will NEVER order photos from Walmart again. Every time I have its been a disaster.

Ridiculous consumer service. Drone 10 miles to assure getting dinner for 80 year old dad and 86 year old mother. First left standing at hot food area, then seen and employee continuited doing what they were. Went to get a specific fried food item at 545, worker said they were out of the 1 item because their fryer was doen, however the counter was full of fried food. Dinner yome...REALLY. then the worker reported he was unable to here a customer. Order, yet Manager felt he was able to handle the assignment. The entire process was un acceptable, but isnt that what the CORPORATION IS KNOWN FOR? Pity. At least the cashier was friendly and apologetic. I asked for the manager on duty name which he didnt know, bur at least was willing to get them if he could.

I enjoy going to Wal-Mart to buy some of my food they have good prices..some of the cashiers has even got to know our family names friendly..they try their best to work with you..even when they get so busy.yhe sad thing is the cashiers have to deal with so much..when things go wrong the customers yell and get mad at the cashiers for the mistakes of the prices changeswhen its not their fault because of the price mistakes. The cashiers job is to ring it up back it up and take the money or do the credit card.if something not right she or he calls ups manger he or she make a decision on what to do not the cashier.sorry just had to put that out there .Wal-Mart clothes are good quality my granddaughter loves dresses there in the little outfits...
