Dont bother coming here if you arent friends with the owner or employees, youll get ignored. They just want to act like big shots because of their signs and attitude of being able to use freedom of speech to act unprofessionally. No matter what your beliefs you should treat your customers the same and not yell at them and kick them out. Which I actually saw while I was there. A woman was upset that the sign contained such vulgar words and phrases and she was cussed and kicked out. Ive never seen business people act this way, especially at a Country Store, where normally the south is known for its welcoming and hospitality. I didnt care when the signs went up. Free Speech is Free Speech. But Im floored at the behavior of business owners and employees. Not to mention you get ignored of you arent friends or kissing up to them because of their signs. So so sad the reputation theyve given the county and country stores.

"Free speech" doesnt directly translate to "I can be hateful with no regard for professionalism and kindness". I drive by here every day, and only made the mistake of coming in one time. The employees were rude, the bathrooms looked like they hadnt actually been cleaned in weeks, and the sign read "Buy a pair of LL Bean boots and shove them up a liberals a**" Personal beliefs are cool and all but the owner should really worry more about running his store and making sure his food doesnt give people food poisoning instead of trying to start childish drama. Also, Your replies look like they came straight from an argument from grade school. Insulting people for disagreeing with you isnt professional, it kind of just makes you look bored.

Not bad... but never going back. We pass by here a few times and at first we thought this was a cute place to stop... it looks very clean but maybe it was just the luck of the draw but my kids have come away sick the last couple of times after getting food here. People talk about them being rude and I can say that they have never been rude to myself or family but they definitely pick and choose who they are nice to based on what you look like. I also do not appreciate some of the language or comments my children have had to overhear and the manager might want to tell employees they should not complain or let out secrets that really customers should not hear. Its awkward.

I had the most pleasing dining experience ever when I stopped in for a corn dog but decided my Granny deserved much more than a dog for her 100th birthday celebration. Me an the rest of the family dug a little deeper into our pockets and got us some real vittles and Lewis Country Store give us cake an ice cream for free! Like they known us for ever. We preciate that n all and will be back when Granny turns 101 to celebrate big time. Yall do yerself a favor and try em out an i will personally guarantee you will be happy you stopped in. Im a lovin this place and Granny says Hey. Thank you for reading I had lots of help

This place serves disgusting food that tastes as if it came out of a dog food can. This "fine" establishment is also run by bigots. Do yourself a favor and run far away from this place. They have the nerve to write "you just didnt have anything intelligent to say" but start their response with one of the most uneducated, ignorant, and backwoods words in existence -- aint. What a great representation of Tennessee!!

I dont personally know the owner but have always been treated with nothing but respect! Im pretty sure if you dont want to shop here they wont mind. Im pretty sure we still have freedom of speech o I forget that is until you dont like what is being said! I guess you are the same people who hate guns until someone defends your sissy a** with one and then you thank god they were there with it huh? If youre going to Lewis country store go for the hospitality and the nostalgic feel everything there was great but the quality of the food the food good I not what I honestly expected it was nearly flavorless I got a bacon cheeseburger with fries and the only thing I honestly tasted was the bacon everything else was bland I dont know if it was just a stroke of bad luck on that order or if thats just how all the food is but I highly recommend going just for the nostalgic feel

The food here is H O R R I B L E. I found a MOP string in my creamed corn and nearly puked. My BBQ pork was like eating wet stinky shoe leather. It was TOUGH as rubber. The service was very poor and attitude of the staff was very poor. Drive a few more miles and AVOID THIS PLACE. Dog food and doggie treats are miles better than the food here. NEVER GOING BACK!!!! If there was a -5 star, thats what Id give them. Food is TRASH!

Its great. Foods good. Right now theres an older gentlemen playing the fiddle on the front porch. If your feelings get hurt here stay away. Dont mistake this country stores kindness for weekness. This place reminds me of ashland city when i was a kid i love it. Theres a lot of vets blue and red guys in and out that dont care your feewins got hurt. Speak positive or shut your hole!

Geesh, could have swore I heard dueling banjos. People were so slow. I felt like the conversation among the workers about what they cooked for dinner was more important. Seemed like no one wanted to work. Not very convenient. However food was good! I had pizza and my friend had the loaded hotdog. Great prices except for cigarettes. Very unique gift shop that was kinda bare.

All ways had great service , dont always agree with their political views but they have the right to voice their opinions ITS CALLED FREEDOM OF SPEECH and any company that trying to suppress that should be boycotted . Shell gas , look into how owns all those twice daily gas stations and you will see why they want them debranded. DONT BUY SHELL GAS !!!!

Ive never been here, but I will be on my next trip to Tennessee. I must say his sign was a little rough for younger eyes, but I also believe he had every right to post what he did. His store, his beliefs...... I just want to try one of those awesome looking burgers.

These people are just very full of hate and hell bent on spreading as much of it around as they possibly can. Theyre not worth my money. A giant digital billboard could be used to spread love or positive messages, but the Lewis family obviously chooses another path.

Food is a 4 on a scale of 1 to 10 they give far too little for what you pay. Ive tried them 3 time trying to give them a chance but every time I wished I had eaten somewhere else. No attention to good service always you feel like youre being ignored.
