We were browsing the internet when we ran across a vehicle we were interested in. We called and told Randy we were interested and that we were going to go through our own bank. He said "banks dont usually lend money on vehicles, They usually only do mortgages." I explained that we have done business with them several times and he said " Okay, go ahead and fill out the credit app and I will wait for you to call and see if your bank can do anything." We went ahead and contacted our bank and told them what we wanted to do and they said " Okay, let me run the numbers and call you back." So we waited and the bank called and said they wanted too much for it and to offer them a certain amount. We called and before we could even make an offer he said that he wouldnt be able to loan us the money because our trade was only valued at $2700 and the vehicle was ten years old and that his bank wouldnt loan us the money based on our credit. So I asked what do you mean our credit, I thought you understood that we were going to go through our bank. Long story short, He ran our credit before we told him to and he dropped our score. He reported a low 600 when I keep a check on my credit and I am a high 600( which I verified after this call) and after all this when I made an offer that was reasonable and based off of my banks NADA value, He didnt even hesitate to say " No but you can pay the difference down" Sorry guy but I wasnt born yesterday and my bank and I looked up the current value of my trade in and in fair condition, which its good and could possibly go to very good, It values at $4700. My recommendation is they are crooked car salesman like most of them and I will never buy a vehicle from Kings Automotive in Ashland City TN. My trade in plus the offer I made was more than the vehicle was to begin with. I also got a speech about some internet price which Im still trying to understand why the price on the internet is different from if you show up at the dealer. We got the price from the internet and had not stepped one foot out the door to go to the dealership yet.The price on the internet should be the same at the dealer Right? I wish I could find a decent car dealership that wasnt a crook and P.S. He then told me that he didnt recall us telling him to wait to run our credit so now my wife is a liar I guess.

These people are the worst people Ive ever done business with I paid almost a thousand dollars for a repair and the car is still broken, their response was try this or try that I tried everything they asked me to do and the car is still broke I talked with the manager in his office very nicely he basically said that I was a liar and he believes his mechanic the whole time hes sitting there eating his lunch in front of me talking to me with a mouth full of food the mechanic is equally as rude cursing and acting like a spoiled child in front of me because he had to look at my car again i was beside myself that when i told the manager about his behavior he didnt say anything but my mechanic is the best mechanic money can buy and now Ive attempted to resolve this matter with only asking for half my money back even though I am entilted to all of it but in return I got more rude behavior and horrible customer service never will I do business here again. And just so everybody knows the issue was my timing belt broke and I asked them before the replace the belt make SURE you check for a bent valve cause if the valve is bent Im not gonna fix it the mechanic claims he checked all the valves and compression was great but I had them check it in front of me after the so called repair and number one cylinder was very low I thinks its obvious it was never checked either way stay clear this is not the first review of this timing belt issue on Google reviews

I took my car here to be diagnosed. They told me it would be $425 before tax and a timing belt would fix it. My car has an "interference engine" so it was odd to me but they called my wife and told her it would fix the issue. They replaced the parts and never called. So I call them to see whats up. The mechanic says he has replaced the parts but "he just cant get it running right". The next day he calls and says it will be another $1400 for the valves to be replaced. I go into the office since it is my car and they lie to me saying it is a "non interference engine". A quick google search for 2002 Kia Spectra will tell you it is an interference engine and these additional parts should have been part of the initial diagnostic. Long story short dont take your car here, they were not truthful about the situation and apparently have no idea what they are doing and expect people to believe them because they are "Mechanics".

I would not even give it 1 star if that was a choice. I will NEVER, EVER take any of my vehicles to King Automotive in Ashland City TN. The manager thinks he can just do whatever work or order whatever parts he thinks that needs to fix the problem WITHOUT contacting the customer. No communication at all!!! Never calls.....we always have to call to see what is happening with our vehicle. Then after the fact, we find out what he has took upon himself to do, WITHOUT a single phone call. Very, very disgusted with the service and fake personality of the manager (wont mention a name). I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE EVER!!!

Took my friends car there, they never called so I called them was told the problem and a price. Had to call friend to authorize, called back and price had jumped another 50. Told them that paying 200 for four spark plugs and wires was ridiculous. They got pushy and told me that to pay them that to get it done right, let another shop charge me double. Or to come pay the diagnostic fee and put cheap autozone parts in it myself...I opted to do it myself screw king auto, will never go back

Didnt have exactly what I wanted so Randy went and found the truck I was looking for. I have purchased quite a few vehicles in my life and this was the best experience I have had. Randy was great and not only will I recommend King automotive to my friends and family I will be going back as well.

Dont ever take your vehicle to king automotive. We just paid $700 and had our truck there for 6 days only for it to come back sounding worse and having more problems. I dont know what those lazy people did to it but its horrible and were out $700

Whos got time for this mess? These folks apparently figure what a vehicle is worth, jack up the price 300% and hope someone clueless comes in. How in the world can they honestly ask $7995 for car that will book at $2100?
