Wow, is all I can say.... My wedding is in 13 months; however, I wanted to start looking early as I was unsure about the type of dress I wanted and I wanted time to look around. I search the internet for Bridal shops & came across Carolina Bride and Groom in Simpsonville, SC. God has a way of putting us where He wants us to be & this is where He wanted me to be....I made my first appointment with Dana. My mom & sister were unable to make it, but Marissa & Dana made me feel so comfortable, as I tried on so many dresses. I found a dress that I wanted my mom & sister to look at; however they were unable to come on my second trip. I was unsure about this dress, so the ladies had me turn on some more dresses & Mrs. Delores (I call her momma Delores) was in the shop on this day, which made me feel like my mom was there. Well, to make a long story short... I found my wedding dress & yes, we all had tears in our eyes. Momma Delores (Mrs. Delores) asks me; are you saying yes to the dress? And of course, my answer was yes. Im so grateful for God directing my path to Carolina Bride and Groom. These ladies are Phenomenal. My fiancée came with me on my third trip for measurements, only to decide on our colors & the type of tuxedo he wanted to wear. He absolutely loves it...momma Delores was giving him a hard time about what was on his t-shirt (cant tell you what it said, Lol)...we all laugh. He says, to me how did you find this place & I told him, God did it because I was going to the bigger Bridal shops in Greenville, SC. As, for my mom & sister not seeing my dress is the way God planned it because the element of surprise will have them tearing up on my special day. Thank you Ladies for all you have done in assisting me....now we have to find Bridesmaids dresses for my two sisters. See you soon. Much Love, Melissa Brownlee

Take your business elsewhere! My husband rented a tux here for a wedding for this weekend and was given the wrong shirt entirely which caused no small stress in the hours before the wedding trying to get another shirt. Since we did not have the tux until a few hours before before the wedding, it was not noticed beforehand. Today when returning the tux we politely requested a refund for my husbands tux rental since the order had been incorrect. The owner refused saying she would have made it right had we contacted her before the wedding. We explained the time constraints of not realizing the mixup until only a few hours prior to the ceremony (as well as the wedding being an hour and a half drive away from the store) and that it would have been impossible to get to the rental store and back in time. She then shifted her stance and said that the wedding party should have checked all the tuxes in the week prior to the wedding to make sure the order was correct. It is my belief that this is the responsibility of a tux rental company, not a sole wedding party member who picks up the 10 tuxes a few days before a wedding. She then physically turned her back on us and refused to continue acknowledging our presence, which was so beyond insulting after paying over $90 for a tux with obvious holes in the sleeves from prior hemming jobs and an incorrect shirt at that. I do not recommend this company to any bride because although any company will inevitably make mistakes, Carolina Bride and Groom will not take responsibility for theirs. Any business that blames their own mistakes on their customers deserves for paying customers to take their business elsewhere.

It was a good experience at first when we went and picked out my daughters brides maids dresses and one for her also and also a dress for my wife to wear to the wedding. Everyone was measured and there were 4 of the dresses were ordered here and 2 were ordered in Charlotte. They were Alexia Designs and out of the 4 ordered here only ONE fit and THREE did not and the two ordered in Charlotte fit. At $190.00 a piece you would think that you would get something that fit or at least that Carolina Bride & Groom would at least make it right. That did not happen we were told we could not get a replacement or money back and that we would have to take them to a seamstress and get them fixed and we have taken two and paid and they still do not fit and the other one is currently being worked on. Here it is less than 2 weeks and my daughter does not have a rehearsal dress and my wife just got hers back from the seamstress in which was let out as far as it could go and she was told it was still at least two sizes to small. So she currently has nothing to wear to our daughters wedding. I am so glad that all of the Tux were not ordered here. So everyone is very upset over this whole matter. I am very mad over the whole situation. This is not how a business needs to run and operate and continue to stay in business!!!! This is not the only place this is going to be posted and reported to!!!!!

From the moment in walked in i was treated with exceptional customer service and a warm feeling. I had searched the area for whom I would let service m wedding.. I have only lived in Greenville for 2 years so I had no knowledge of local businesses here. When I got to Carolina Bride and Groom I knew I was I found the right place. Im a man so a lot of things I naturally overlook and not consider. Marissa, Dana, and who I call "mom" was very helpful. I came in about at least 5 times to change things or with and idea and each time they welcomed and took the time to go over each idea.. Some we agreed with and others we had to talk about. LOL. In the end everything came out better than great and nothing short of Flawless. I had a large party and all except me were coming from out of town. Some measurements didnt quite make sense but Dana had the expertise and knowledge to figure it out. I was so impressed when 2 of my groomsman had an extra jacket to ensure the size was perfect, and it was. I have two daughters currently 8 and 1. I plan on being in Greenville to raise my girls and any formal wear needed, ( anniversaries, balls, prom, when my girls get married) will come from Carolina Bride and Groom. I must say over the months getting to know them each I have gained friends and they have gained a lifelong customer.. Carolina Bride and Groom is the way to go.

Dana saved my marriage! I almost picked a hot pink as my tux color and she suggested I call my fiancé to make sure I wouldnt get in trouble. And boy was she right, my fiancé told me she would have left me AT the alter if I walked in with a hot pink on. I can not say enough great things about Dana and her mother. I went shopping for a tux with my best man two weeks before I was scheduled to get married and I have to tell you I was clueless about the various parts of a tux. I had no idea what a boutanneer was or how to fold a crown,hell I didnt even know what a lapel was. Dana educated us thoroughly. She answered all of our questions and was patient with us. At the end of the proces Dana and her mother went above and beyond to make sure I looked good on my special day. I almost left my bow tie in the dressing room and would have never known any better if Dana and her mother did not take the time to make sure every piece of the suit was in order prior to bagging it for us. I am very well pleased with Dana and her mother services and I would honest to God recommend them to all of my friends and family. I do not write reviews regularly, but when I do.....its because the experience left quite an impression. And Dana and her mom definitely left an impression.
