Let me start by saying that the Jo-Ann in Warwick is no better or worse than any other Ive been to and this review is for my experiences with every Jo-Anns Ive been to in CT and RI. Customer service is non-existant, wait time is too long; all Jo-Anns Ive been to are understaffed. I dont like the way they play games with "sale" prices, but I understand its just a way to get you into the store. Quality is okay, but not great. Im not impressed with the selection of fabric for either quilting or home-decorating; as far as clothing fabric, its downright awful. I dont think Ive ever actually purchased any fabric there except for a few fat quarters on clearance. I never make a special trip to visit a Jo-Anns; occasionally if Im in the area and need a specific notion or a spool of thread Ill run in- most of the time I dont find what Im looking for. I much prefer supporting my local independently-owned shops and spending a bit more for quality, and getting what I want.

Just got back from a very unproductive experience there. I was all excited to start a new project and rushed off to get the supplies. When I asked where one item was the clerk didnt have a clue what it was let alone if they carried it. I also needed help with the different types of fusible web. Good luck with that. Then I had to stand in line for 1/2 hour to get it cut. Now up to the front of the store to stand in line once again for 1/2 hour to cash out. The clerks were rude and just didnt care. By the time I got home I was too exhausted to even think about my project. I will not go back.

Store is a little disorganized, they have random clearance racks here and there and signage isnt great. However, they are great at checkout! They could use more cashiers because I do wait every time I go but I know thats not the stores control. And they let you use multiple coupons which makes a difference!

Well stocked JoAnns with a large floral department. Only issue I have is the register lines are always long and they dont have enough staff ringing or on the floor to assist you if you have a question. You need to know what you are looking for otherwise no one will help you.

Ive always found the staff to be pleasant and helpful--esp. those who help us in framing. Going when the store is not crowded is a good idea; we should keep in mind that they are understaffed, which is not their fault but corporate HQ & the economy.

I love JoAnn Fabrics! They have a huge selection of fabrics, and other sewing needs. They even have classes where you can bring your own sewing machine in and learn more about how to use it (If youre a beginner).

Its ok if you get there early and there is no wait to cut fabric Ive waited in line for 1hr and 40 minutes before and just when they were gonna cut my fabric they took their break and I had to wait longer
