Everything is fresh and clean and I have been very happy with the quality of the produce. Deli prices are excessive, so I go elsewhere for cold-cuts. The staff are plentiful and pleasant. I dont know what "historic homes" another reviewer is referring to. Theres nothing anywhere nearby that will make any history register and the building is a lot more attractive than the dry cleaner across the street. It is a pain to get in and out of the lot because of traffic, and this will need to be addressed. Since they have opened and provided some competition with the Shaws across the street my grocery bill is lower and I am saving close to a dollar per gallon on gas with the gas points program. Ive been very pleased to have S&S in the neighborhood as the next closest one (Garfield Ave.) is located in a shopping plaza that accounts for about half of the police blotter entries in the Herald in any given week.

As one of the commenters already expressed the set up in this store sucks! On one end of the store you have an incoming and outgoing door and at the other end just and exit. So basically the store and parking lot is huge and no matter where you park you can only enter in one way and in Rhode Island no weather makes that fun. Also their organic selection is horrible, their fruit is barely ever fresh. When you can actually get through the entrance youre bombarded with display set ups that you have to get through along with exiting traffic. Its crazy, the architectural designer for this building should be fired immediately. How is one entrance and two exits even acceptable for fire code regulation. ?

Worst customer service ever!! They dont know theyre own coupon policy and when you try to explain it they argue with you!! Went in tonight with a BOGO raincheck on cooked perfect meatballs-had coupons for 1.50 off one so I wanted to use 10 since I bought 10 bags. The woman argued with me that I couldnt and say you couldnt take money off a free item, the cashier behind her agreed but it states IN their coupon policy that you can!!! I ended up leaving with nothing and in a terrible mood because I made this trip for nothing because the woman would NOT ring the coupons up since she said it would not work! Ill be calling the manager to complain tomorrow!! Ridiculous!!

This store is declining! Its never stocked. The milk case is filthy and smells bad. The milk is alway within just a few days before sell by date, which has resulted in buying bad milk. Parking lot is extremely dark. Wish you would fix the lights that have been out for about a year before someone gets hit! Some of you employees at the registers are just rude. I said thank you to the young lady bagging the other day and no reply just looked at me. Lastly you set up when you come in the store. You can hardly get in! You either running into the people trying to leave or you run into the table right in front of you.

This stop and shop is a monstrosity that looks out of place and pretty much ruined the property values of the adjacent historic homes. All for the obvious motive to stick it to Shaws which is directly across the street. The only entryway to the parking lot has no turn lane and causes backups to the point that a Cranston police officer now has to direct traffic on busy days. Great job guys! This is not how you become part of the community.

The Shaws across the street has an appeal for me, since its been here much longer and has locals I know. Still, with so many inefficiencies in how Shaws is run, the Stop & Shop is the better choice. It is newer and feels cleaner, faster, and more pleasant. The Shaws is often running more than one promotion that slows down lines and involves making a hobby of collecting stickers, tickets, or something worse. S&S just has gas rewards.

Its a very nice store overall. Fresh produce and meat section. Very clean and well organized. Only problem I have is with some of the cashiers. They tend to be a little snobby. One particular one is the lady cashier dont know her name but has a tattoo on her left arm. Shes kinda old but she should brush up on her customer service skills.

This Stores accessible sucks. You have major problems getting through the door. When you enter the store and turn to the right, youre fighting traffic leaving the registers. Turn left and your fighting parked traffic at the deli. You cant even get in the store. The set up sucks, especially on weekends. Its horrible.

Its good. Just as of layely though....They have always been out of something. Never restocked accordingly. And I always end up with something expired from this one. Weird. Need new managers to whip departments into shape. Just grabbed a drink mixer that expired in Feb of 2015. Imagine that

This is another great Stopnshop! Items displayed clearly, clean surroundings and lots to offer from produce, the bakery section, seafood, meat department and a sweet little flower shop. The employees aim to please and they do!

Its Stop & Shop, so they are all pretty much the same. This was a quick trip in for something on the go. It worked out great as I had a clothing donation and book donation to make at the drop off bins.
