This is one of the most disgusting stop and shops I have ever been in. It looks and smells like someone pissed all over the walls in the bathroom a week ago and no one ever cleaned it up. The food shelves have visible layers of dust on them, and the produce containers have a layer of black grime. Its incredibly congested, its bigger than most stop and shops but theres no room to move around, the manager but be a moron to allow the store to be set up like that. One person standing in the entry way and its completely clogged up, no one can move at all. Most of the cards are kept outside, so be prepared to have to wear winter gloves while shopping because the carts get FREEZING cold. Raining? Dont go shopping unless you want to put all of your food on a wet cart. The prepared food section is just plain nasty, I got a bag of fried chicken and it was all crusty and hard, I couldnt find any real pieces of meat. Just a bunch of scraps they couldnt be out in anything else, were fried and sold as actual chicken. This place is a disgrace.

Although not one of the larger Stop and Shops, this specific location offers all the standard products and services found at the typical Stop and Shop store. Perhaps one of the benefits to the smaller square footage is that the crowd tends to be smaller than the average Stop and Shop and this is reflected in the checkout lines and the typical wait times to finish your shopping trip. The thing I personally like the most with this location is it tends to have one of the larger Clearance sections for Stop and Shops (this area is located in the center of the store behind the florist). Overall a good store with great weekly sales, great shopping benefits (gas rewards, exclusive savings, occasional free items, etc), and a strong customer base that does not overwhelm.

I am so sick of this store! Ive had a few bad experiences with people there, but honestly I can live with that. What drives me nuts is that if you shop on Thursday evening you have no idea whats on sale because all of the signs are ripped down! Sooo annoying for someone who wants to just run in quick. Use the flyer you say? Tried that, the one item I found did not ring in at the sale price. I have worked retail all my life and currently manage a store. I would never let my employees take signs down before the sale was over, its just bad business. Thats the last time I give that store a chance.

Stop and Shop is a great supermarket with all your needs. In my opinion Stop and Shops fruits and vegetables are as fresh as they day they were picked. My daughter loves looking at the lobster in the seafood section. Speaking of sections, Stop and Shop has a lot of brands and categories to choose from. Even though some foods are to be kept cold, when you go to in to Stop and Shop, bring a sweatshirt. Summer or winter it will be freezing cold in there. But besides that, Stop and Shop is my favorite stop!

Horrible. I was visiting a friend in the area and had never been to this particular S&S. Needless to say Ill never go back. The woman in front of me was arguing with the cashier and the bagger and they seemed to engage in the old womans misery. They then began a 5 minute conversation about layoffs and going on strike!?!? I got a bad vibe from the People working there but th customers seemed rude and obnoxious. Next time Ill go to Daves.

Ive been going to this stop and shop for years-now all of a sudden they installed speed bumps across the entire front of the store-speed bumps are one thing-these are higher and they are like 25 feet apart-thats very hard on suspension parts-shocks, steering-etc.theres no need to place them as close as they are,, Ill be staying out of Greenwich ave stop and shop now...

This location needs to learn from other locations (NK, Narragansett) and stick at night. I am there almost every day for work. There are so many unprofessional people stocking in the way of shoppers. Then so many nice people helping check out that the people stocking could be hurting the good employees.

Nice Supermarket. Workers are nice Ive asked where things are and they always know. Compared to Shaws supermarket they are a bit pricey, but they do have some good sales to be fair. Keep an eye on their weekly ad.

Dirty store, aisles cluttered, never have plastic bags at hand held scanner booth, run out of hand baskets often, complained several times but nothing changes.

Store was clean and well stocked but lines were long. Only one 12+ register was open and the line was 7+ . Cashier was pleasant so that helped.

Produce is pretty good. Meat is hit or miss. Often there arent enough registers open and lines can be long, and especially on the weekends.
