Mussers Market is located just south of Lancaster, PA on PA Route 272 just west of Quarryville in the heart of PA Amish country. A new store was built about 5 or 6 years ago. It is typical of a modern super market. Dont know why there are several negative reviews. My wife and I have always found this store very clean and the refrigerated food products very fresh. The meats and seafood are always very fresh. Just as with any super markets the prices can vary. No one store is always the lowest. Mussers prices rank average in my experience. One exceptional item is their Chester Fried Chicken which is just about the best there is. The price for the chicken is at least 20% to 30% lower then KFC. But more importantly the pieces are far bigger then the scrawny pieces of chicken sold by KFC. In fact two pieces of Mussers Chester Fried Chicken are at least the equal to three pieces of KFC of the same kind. We have had thighs which are as big as or bigger then KFCs breasts. Also the weekly sale priced items are an excellent buy. One thing though produce is high, especially fruit which is not local. Other produce is about equal to other markets. But you might be lucky to find better prices for locally grown produce from Amish roadside stands which are near by along PA Route 272.

The grocery store is great, but the flower shop, not so much. Ordered a prom corsage and they didnt do what I wanted/asked. If I put out so much money for my prom, I want everything to look good. The corsage was so bland, it was very upsetting. I had much higher expectations, and assumed they would do the corsage as I said I wanted instead of tweaking it the way they thought would look better, because they were wrong.

Beyond overpriced! Got chicken salad at the old store years ago..got it home and it was fuzzy! Took it back and the idiots asked if I wanted a new container..right! Asked a kid working there once where the bread was cuz I hadnt been in the new store till then. He gave me a dumb look and said "in the bread corner". That told me nothing! Hate this place..stick to Fergies.

Staff seems a bit young (or maybe Im just old), but theyre always friendly. Im not sure that I think theyre all the much more expensive than others, but to be fair, I plan my shopping around sales...and they always have great meat sales.

I got a chicken salad sandwich from the deli, and there was a piece of egg salad in it. Other than that, its a decent grocery store with decent prices. The customer service desk is always super friendly!!

This is a bit on the expensive side except for meat. Their meat is awesome and I go just for that sometimes. Scooters are also always available for me, having one leg and crutches.
