Naturistical Theism
I often hear how expensive organic food is. Well, how much is your health worth? Your kids health? Consider that with all the things we Americans spend money on, what is more important. So what if it costs a few dollars a day to keep us healthy, free of toxins, happy and with better working brains. With good health, you will be able to make that money back and a lot more rather than giving it up to hospitalization and doctors visits. Surely it is being penny wise and pound foolish to force our kids to eat non-organic food laced with GMOs toxins and sticky un-washable toxins. Organic is certified, with huge fines for using GMOs and toxins on anything with the Organic label. I also hear how everything we eat is toxic anyway, so why bother? You will find that big stores like Giant and Wegmans have a tiny organic selection and make it seem that is all there is. In fact, you can find tons of fresh organic veggies and fruit at Whole Foods. They also have an excellent selection of frozen veggies and fruit that will enable you, like me, to eat huge, healthy, veggie/fruit meals at about $10 a day. At that price point, how can you not eat organic? Those kinds of meals supply all the healthy nutrients you need (with a B12 supplement) without the huge loads of excess sugars and salt and heavy metals sapping our health, as you can see all around us. Whole Foods also has a large selection of fresh frozen that is as healthy as fresh and can be adapted to most anyones schedule, and can enable people with as little as a microwave and a sink to enjoy the best, healthiest foods the World ever has provided, and stuff themselves, feel good and never get obese on less than $10 a day, leaving lots to splurge on less healthy food. With a Whole Foods close enough, every person in America, if they want, can be as healthy as possible in their circumstances and will never be forced to eat foods laced with toxins or GMOs.

Sure, its an amazing store - IF you ignore prices entirely. I bought a pineapple, two bell peppers, a pound of ground turkey, and four apples. Cost? $21. The ground turkey alone was almost $8. The same set of items wouldve cost me at least $5 less elsewhere, and yes, thats buying a few items organic, as I did here. Was the quality good? Yes, but it wasnt $5 better than the other places. Honestly, I am all for locally sourced, humanely-raised, free-range, grass-fed, and organic (when available) food, but this places prices make me wonder how the heck people can afford to shop here. Is Southeastern PA just swimming in cash? Seriously? Also, the workers, while very efficient and nice, seem to have a superiority complex; one actually said Trader Joes were "imposters." If by "imposter" you mean less variety/sq.footage and slightly lower percentage of organic stuff, but at WAY, freaking WAY better prices, then sure. Theyre imposters. Dont worry - when Wegmans opens up in King of Prussia, this place is going to lose 25% of its business, and management will wonder "where did all of our hipster customers go?" In my opinion, a combination of Trader Joes and Wegmans eliminates the need to shop at overpriced Whole Foods... although I will visit the taco thing on the roof one of these days.

Ok the Whole Foods pub in a store concept is really good. The taco truck on the roof was interesting. However John who makes the pizza is a real asset and the two large pie deal is attractive. Pretty much the entire store is a good experience and the food is typically very fresh. They offer compelling value, a bit overwhelming in choices until one shops there a few times. Gotten the prepared foods many times. The pub has a refrigerated section of cold beers but their selection (while not long) of craft beer is outstanding in what they pick, often local. Its an education for a cicerone, and I am frequently looking at reviews of what they have on tap in Beer Advocate. Pro tip, dont try and park outside. Go in covered lot in basement and take escalator.

Went there about 2:30pm on a Saturday. Store did not seem very clean. Very overpriced compared to Wegmans and other stores. Prepared foods looked like they were sitting out from the day before...very dry looking. I assume no one turns them over in the juices to to keep them looking moist and fresh??? I purchased some. BBQ chicken was overly spiced and very dry! BBQ ribs...very dry!!! Thied the maple bbq sauce...very bland!!! Tried the Chinese BBQ meatballs...sauce was "OK" more like a cross between Asain and American sauces but the meat was dry and a tad bland!!! Will not be going back to that store again! Was my first time there and am a lover of Wegmans and was very curious to how they compared. Sad...

They have so much variety, beautiful flowers and a great food selection, plus an expansive food court. But the customer service is all over the place. You have some friendly and some that give you attitude because you forgot a code, even though they have the book of codes at their register. Or impatient ones who make you feel bad for looking for a coupon or asking a question about a product. Ive even been hit on while shopping there by an employee. Ive never received above and beyond service. Moreoften than not its subpar service. It makes me not want to come here at all but theyre the only place that carries certain products. Looking to order them online just to avoid the poor customer service there.

Not happy. I realized today that I have to look very carefully at the pricing and be sure its not a bait and switch. Bought clementines. Sale price was for bags...but looking carefully, its by the cartons. Only a dollar. But, a lesson here: buyer beware...even at Whole Foods. Wow. Also, got something else advertised on sale. Turns out I was right and the sale price was NOT in the system. So, I got one dollar back and learned a lesson. BTW, at the Acme, if they make a mistake, you get your money back and a replacement product. But, at the very pricy (and thats okay; its good stuff) Whole Foods, you get the difference back. Guess they dont make as many errors. I am disappointed.

Everything is fresh here. I go to the Whole Foods in Plymouth Meeting when I want something from the butcher or fish market. When I get ribs here, I know (though my fiance argues) they will usually be of higher quality than area farmers markets as far as the Main Line and Flourtown. The problem is that everything is so expensive. Snow crab legs were $17.99 per pound, king crab legs $24.99 per pound. A week after purchasing snow crab legs here, I found a local shop on Route 202 offering snow crab legs of almost equal quality for $10.99 per pound. But if you want the most top-shelf meats, seafood or dairy, youre headed to the right place.

This Whole Foods is decent like any other one but they are definitely lacking in the vegan prepared food department. I ordered a vegan pizza and the Daiya cheese to sauce ratio was way off. The employee put a few sprinkles of cheese on the pizza and doused it with sauce. I glanced over at the real cheese pizzas and they were not lacking in cheese quantity in appearance. Also, the vegan peanut butter cookie I had left very much to be desired. It tasted like flower and peanut butter. I did enjoy the vegan pre-made humus sandwich that I purchased, but I dont think I will come to this location again for vegan pizza or pastries.
