so first things first, Drove up from york,pa on independence day weekend when every other surplus store within 80+ miles was close well he wasnt so he is open when he says he is witch is more than obvious business since you cant expect than from 99% of military surplus stores. so we showed up parking wasnt bad,so now we go inside wife,4 year old,14 year old and me and we were just amazed when we walked inside on the greatest selection of real and on the market military and survival items around this area. we must have spent almost two hours trying to check out all this place had (and im sure we still missed some) but it was one of the most plesant surplus store experiances around the gental man that was working was one of the most polite no pushy dudes iv EVER met at a surplus store and with the crew we had most places would have been hoverbound with us especially with a 4 year old touching a few things here and there, he kept his distance but when we did have a question he was on point and not pushy i had planned on getting a pair of ballistic ess glasses from him he took his time let me fiddle around with the insert lenses with no issues scowering looks ar smugness and it turned out after 15 minutes of of what looked like a purchase they didnt look right on me in the civy world so what then was a lost sale he treated it as though it were no big deal and that all he wanted was to help and make a potential customer happy so kudos to him.so after all that time in the store it turned out all we bought well the wife bought was a measly $40.00 tacticool bag and his demeanor never changed just as cool as a cucumber showing my wife all the neat features of the bag. so all in all this was my absolute best experience iv ever had at a military surplus store,so i encourage as many people to go check this place out if they are tired of all the smug know it all cocky jaded military surplus guys. i went to this place on a whim with my fingers crossed, i have been to some really ate up army navy stores. i have also been to some top notch high speed places, and this store is now on the list as low drag! at first look i was worried that i was going to enter yet another shop that sold lower quality appearal and plastic civil war nick nacks. but again a book shall not be judged by its cover....the store was larger than expected and the stock was fantastic. they have vintage, used and new military clothing. they have multicam in bdu style at a great price, also carry new acu and marpat in woodland and desert. they have the ability to make dog tags on location as well as they have 550 cord and mres on hand. insignias, badges and a ton of tech manuals. i am impressed to say the least and the next time i am on the easter side of the state i WILL be going back for sure. the man behind the counter was friendly and accomadating, he also pointed my wife and i in the direction to some chow in the area. one impressive factor, to me atleast, is the fact that they have british military camo. that is not something you find state side without breaking out the credit card and hitting a web site. Top Gun gets a big OOOORAAAH from me.

Id initially seen this place as I was driving thru Palmyra and didnt think much of it because of the menial storefront size. I was WRONG! As soon as you walk in, youll be flooded with actual AUTHENTIC M.I. gear easily dating back to Nam. Everything you need from BDUs, to various helmet styles, to tactical attachments and all for very reasonable prices. What initially shocked me was how much of the stuff is actual Military Issue. I really expected it to be a boyscout store with a few memorabilia pieces but I was pleasantly surprised. Whether youre a Military enthusiast, or are looking to piece together a costume for whatever reasons, hit up Top Gun Military apparel if youre ever around! I know Ill be going back ^_^

Top Gun military apparel is an awesome military surplus store, with a vast inventory of all types of both historic and modern militaria. The guy who usually runs the store is both very friendly, and very knowledgeable. Products are priced very competitively, often even lower than online stores. The quality of their inventory is unmatched.

1st trip today, planning on many more. Service and inventory are both top notch. No more made in China garbage and rude customer service from a similar store in Harrisburg - thank you Top Gun!! My daughters love the watch and compass. Found you just in time for Christmas!!

Great shop to find. these stores are drying up elsewhere, and I give the owner a lot of credit to make his business stay alive. Ill be back every time Im in the area. plenty of interesting antique stuff to check out, and even more good stuff to buy. wish I lived in Hershey.

Not what you expect in army/navy stores these days. Clean, well-organized, good prices, and will give you a great price for your old gear. Ive founds some real steals on the book shelf and in the back on the coat racks. This is how they all should be.

Amazing selection of actual milsurp gear, a rarity these days when a lot of Army/Navy stores just sell junk. Some great historic stuff in here and lots of bargains. Be sure to check out their uniform and boot selection.

Really enjoyed my visit. They have a huge selection of used and new militaria. If you are a collector, or just looking for some new accessories for your kit, definitely stop by. Lots of good bargains too!

Best selection of military surplus in central Pennsylvania. I have purchased several jackets, hats, and helmets here. Always a fair price. Authentic militaria and other interesting items. Fun to browse.

What a great place. There was a huge selection of stuff that was far better than what you find at other stores. I got a new backpack for my oversized laptop and its been working great.
