1.0 star rating 12/15/15 Purchased a used Laptop for my daughter for Christmas through one of their E-bay listings which was described as being in "MINT" Cond. Once I received it I discovered it had a great deal of difficulty connecting to the internet unless sitting directly next to my wireless router! Upon letting them know the laptop was defective and asking to send it back for a refund I was told there was nothing wrong with the laptop and that their "Grade A Computer tech." tested it before it was sent to me and that my wireless router was bad (Without their tech. Knowing anything about my router, I might add!). After arguing back and forth with them through e-mails I decided to diagnose the issue myself and discovered that the internal antennae wire that connects to the wireless card was not connected at all! I fixed the issue and now it works. Luckily I am somewhat tech savvy and a little mechanically inclined, otherwise I would have been stuck with a $288.00 paper weight! BEWARE of buying anything from this company! Especially if you dont live in the area. They are very rude and have no clue what good customer service is.

HORRIBLE!! Most of the staff that I encountered there are decent but tonight one staffer actually tried to cheat me. I took in a 32 inch flat screen tv, a stereo boom box, dvds, and a few other items. The guy quoted me $35 for the tv and the stereo and $16 for the dvds. But then when I asked how much for the other items he said "$35 for everything plus $16 for the dvds." Mind you he only looked at one other item that sold for $15 on ebay (after quoting me the price for the tv and stereo) but then decided to "include" that item in his original quote. I also had ipad accessories that he didnt even look at so basically he wanted those for free. NO DEAL, NOT STUPID. Wont be doing business with them ever again. If you want to be cheated do business with Capital City Buy and Sell.

Brought in coins that I had no idea what the value would be and some broken jewelry, I took my jewelry to other places before a friend told me to stop in this place. This place was very knowledgable on my coins and showed me the value of each coin. As for my jewelry I was very happy with their offer. They seemed very honest, up front and their pricing was better than any other place I went. Will be returning there in he future with any jewelry or coins. I also noticed they had a lot of tools and yard equipment, as long as game systems. Love this place will definitely be referring people here! Thanks again for the customer service I will be back!

This place is not good at all i need to get some money for my engine stand and they would not give me the far pace for it when i decided to take ther offer they say that they did not want it cuz i try to get a far pace for it they look down at you if you do not look right i work 2 jobs so i am alway have oil on me they think they can treat people any way they want to they did not even come out and look at it they just told me a pace and they did not even look it up to this is not how you do bruises i am going to be contacting better bruises boroug

My husband ALWAYS stops by Capital City Buy & Sell to buy his tools for his remodeling business and might I add.. they have the best prices around! I would highly recommend any and everyone to stop by. They have the best employees working there and are always so helpful and kind! Took some jewelry in that I no longer had use for and they offered me a good price compared to other places I had gone for an estimate. They were very knowledgeable about prices and even explained it all to me. I had also gone in over the summer for some electronics and the guys were all super nice!
