I have both purchased and sold firearms through the trading post and I recommend them highly. I have found that their prices on firearms for sale are very fair and more than competitive with other gun stores in the area. Their inventory is not huge but they have lots of firearms to handle and do not mind bringing out any that you ask about. I go in monthly to see what they have acquired and they are always very welcoming and knowledgable. They frequently have interesting used firearms as well as a number of different makers -- they are not the usual "black poly pistol" shops. The prices they offer when you bring in a gun to sell are entirely consistent with other shops including the big chain stores. Everyone should know that you will net more from a private sale if you can arrange one so be aware that selling to an establishment like this will net you something like 60% of what you think the gun is worth. That being said, selling a firearm here is absolutely quick and painless. Good people, good prices, and good hospitality. What more could me want?

I was on my way to the rescue mission an I thought I see how much my desktop would go for so I took it out of my car and was appoaching the store. One of the employees so that my hand were and went right back to working. At the time, I figured theyve probably got something to do so I managed. As I entered there were four people standing at the counter glaring at me like I interrupted something. I mustered the courage to ask if they take them, and they looked at me like I had a third eye. This lollipop girl was the first to speal and I must say she was relatively nice about checking with the manager. It came back as a no. But I was ready to leave anyways. As I left, again struggling, noone offer to stop what the were do and help and as im walking to my car the "door man" is coming back with a pack of cigarettes... I mean really?

I have had two transactions with GTP in the last two years. I live about 30 miles away and only get there when I have a reason. Words that come to mind are customer oriented, fair, helpful. I need to get over some day and spend an hour looking around. I have both times had a specific item an not the time to browse. Both of my purchases were firearms, they are an efficient and careful weapons dealer. Stay away if you want to sneak past the law. If you can legally make the purchase they will work to get it done. I was impressed both times with the care that was taken that it was done right, essential for me to not have problems later.

Ive found GTP to be fair and straightforward in their dealings with the public. Ive bought items there and transferred firearms through them from out of state with no problems. They follow the law and deal honorably with any and all from my experience. I highly recommend the firm and use their services with confidence.

Lol complaint about not taking peoples trash? Really? Oh lord. Anyway I cant speak to everything there but the staff has always been friendly and helpful, prices are decent, and they always have ammo even when other places dont. Not much to complain about. Unless youre trying to empty garbage out of your car I suppose XD.

I brought in a brand new iPhone 7 still on box that wasnt being used. They had asked me if I stole it... What because Im not white? On top of that, they only offered $25 saying no one would buy it blah blah blah. Talk about wanting to scam you. The fat blonde girl was so rude!!!! Save your time, go elsewhere.

Very good experience. The staff was very helpful and actually seemed like they were happy to help, unlike Reddings Hardware... Its a small place, but have a great selection of firearms and ammo. I thought the prices were decent. Ill return.
