Yum yum icing and nice enough staff, but more geared toward adult desserts than kids. Tried for my 6 yr olds bday and altho good, with comebackformore frosting, if Im being honest, the cake could have been moister. Did not stop me from eating, but it was the icing that kept getting commented on. And the theme, altho cute, felt like it was out of their comfort zone. Think they do beautiful stuff, less gutsy stuff.......and thats ok. Would use again for a non-kid event. Awesomely unique cupcake flavors.

I work and live right down the street from the Hungry Hero and I have to say I am always impressed! Our office does lunch down the street on Fridays and we all cannot resist stopping by on our walk back. I am the pickiest of eaters out there and I have not tried one thing that I didnt like (my fav is the marionberry cupcake for sure)! I am also always impressed with the energy when you come into the shop. All of the staff are ALWAYS so pleasant. Thank you Hungry Hero and keep up the great work!

Great little bakery near old town sherwood. They have the staples you know and love like quality cookies, muffins, and other pastries. They also have imaginative items such as a chocolate potato chip brownie. The owners are super friendly and they do catering and I have heard from others that the catering is awesome too. They also do custom cakes for weddings and other occasions.

These guys really know what they are doing! I go out of my way to buy their goodies. The Hungry Hero shop is nestled right in the heart of old town and offers its perfectly quaint charm on every visit. Be sure to get in there early on Sundays for the cinnamon rolls, they sell out quick and for good reason. You wont be disappointed!

Man, this place. Wow. They are generally geared towards large orders like whole cakes or smaller items by the dozens, so dont be bummed when you stroll in and see a very limited selection of stuff available on the spot. What they do have though is INCREDIBLE. Salted caramel banana bread cupcakes are my end-all-be-all of desserts.

Everything is amazing! My favorite part is that every day is a surprise, as you never know what treats they will make until you check their FB each morning. Theyve always come through with great cakes and pies for all of our events, and can be seen at all the local shin-digs.
