I called in a prescription refill on Monday for my ten year old for a prescription filled at this Rite Aid in the previous month. I went in to pick it up the following Wednesday and was told that insurance would not pay for the refill because another pharmacy had refilled the prescription a week or so before. Yet I had nor initiated nor received that refill. The pharmacist said that he could sell me a two weeks supply, but that I would have to pay out of pocket. No thank you. I left the store. I called the other pharmacy and they said they would cancel the prescription that they had filled and that had not been picked up and that they would make sure that automatic refill requests would not be set for that in the future (I had not initiated any automatic refill requests in the past). After taking care of that, I went back to Rite Aid and again asked for the refill. They again told me they couldnt refill for the same reason. I explained thay the other pharmacy had cleared that refill. They checked amd confirmed and then explained they were out of the medication and that I would have to wait a day. Now why couldnt they have mentioned that before? And why couldnt they have called me on Tuesday to explain the initial problem they had with honoring my refill request? They treated me with disrespect instead if working with me to solve the problem and make a sale and a satisfied customer. I then went next door to Safeway pharmacy and had them refill the same prescription. They had the med in stock and will have it ready shortly. They were also very courtious and listened politely to my concerns.

On Saturday August 6.2016, I shopped here and waited a long time in line to be checked out. When I arrived at the head of the line, I noticed no one at the last register and walked up to it. The clerk said she was helping the person at the register next to hers. I apologized and went back to the head of the line. The clerk yelled out and motioned me to get in the back of the line. After repeating herself, I put my box down and left before the clerk humiliated more. I will never return to this store again.

I walked in here to pick up a traveler size pack of Advil, and I couldnt find one with the larger bottles. When I asked one of the pharmacists for directions to what I needed, he flat out ignored me; didnt even look my way. After a third attempt by simply saying "Sir?", another pharmacist pointed to the aisle I needed. As I made my way down there, I heard them both loudly mock me and complain about me feeling the need to repeatedly ask for their assistance. Extremely unprofessional and rude behavior.

Unlike Safeway rite aid has a policy of 18 and over only to buy a lighter, which i totally agree is a great idea but im 24 and its really irritating being denied purchase of a lighter when i had lost my ID. I look older than my age by about 3 years or so (been smoking cigarettes since 14 is probably why haha) and it just bothers me that the lady seemed to enjoy denying me my purchase while i was very clearly jonsing for a cigarette. Not cool.

Pretty Nice Rite Aid. I am giving it 5 stars, but relative to other pharmacies. You know, a Rite Aid isnt a restaurant or a grocery store or a Natural History marker (although all of those are nearby) Anyhow, I needed some toothpaste and a pocket comb. They had those things, parking was not a problem, and my Rite Aid card worked, so... 100%
