Theyre the only guys in town with a huge variety of brews, including some rare European imports you cant find at many other joints. If you have no taste for good beer and like the cheap stuff then youre also in luck, as their lineup is respectable. Prices are decent but have been climbing for some time. They also sell dirty magazines that pair well with cheap beer folk. The store atmosphere is like something out of a Stephen King book, so youre best advised to get in, stay focused, grab your beer, and not let your imagination run too wild. If you havent ventured outside your home in 30 years you might feel like you stepped into a time machine!

GREAT BEER SELECTION. And the rest is all downhill. All I can say about this place is carry a defense weapon and watch your back, cause its in the ghetto and youll likely run across some crosseyed mental Salemite who will give you the creeps, and dont be surprised if hes an employee! I wouldnt eat a thing this place sells, but the beer selection is next to none. If this is your first time in Salem and youre wondering if things get any better -- hate to break it to you -- they dont.

Do you want beer? Do you want a wide selection of really good beer? Then this is where you have to go. Dont be such a baby and worry that it is in the "ghetto". You will be buying beer for christs sake. If you cant handle a magazine rack full of porn and a few bums, shop at Safeway and stick to Bud Light Lime.

If you can get past the feeling that youre going to get stabbed here, then youll find one of Salems best sources for exotic local and international craft beers. My personal favorite is McEwans Scottish Ale, but thats mostly so I can quote So I Married An Axe Murderer while Im drinking it.
