I am tired of trying to deal with the dealership after buying a used car for too much for too little. So, I will close this chapter with a review. -found car online (no pictures, recently listed) -talked to sales person for cars condition (no dents/dings or sign of wear - "GREAT condition!") -price matched KBB high book (no signs of wear - like new) -flew to Eugene to pickup car -car had carpet stains, missing cup holders (busted out) dirt on ceiling, stuck sun shade (found later), cracking paint (common for car, but some dont have this issue) and a dent/paint chip on one fender. Later dash lights dont work completly (cant see spedometer), one fog light was burnt out) -Interestingly the cars window was cracked due to a truck driving in the lot" and I was discounted $200 to replace the window on my own. Sounded shady - who gets a star/crack when parked? (check arrived over a month later) -against my better judgement I bought the car and drove home (Im passive aggressive and clearly was not happy at the dealership - but they didnt pick up on that and I just wanted the whole ordeal over. I was paying about $700 too much and figured getting out of there was worth it for all the cosmetic issues.) -bought the car and had to fill it up (empty - go figure) and checked oil because I was starting to feel even more taken. Dirty oil. -upon taking to our mechanic back home, it needed a routine service job based on its mileage and it had not had it done yet. Dealership said they would take care of me, but never did. I had to pay the $550 service for all fluids and then pay for the lights to be replaced $200 I had called the sales person and had talked to two other people that said they would take care of me for a total of about 5 times. Crickets now. I feel Im out an additional ~$1,400 for a $10,000 car. Having bought 5 cars over the years, both private and dealer, private sales have been better represented with this experience being the worst. Unless I want a new car someday, this experience has told me Im better off with private sales where accountability has been much higher. I will not shop Kendall again, nor will I suggest people go there. Best of luck in your search.

We recently purchased a 2014 Chevy Spark from this lot. The car itself is fine outside of strange door lock issue (the work done by Kendall confirmed by independent mechanics). There have been two main issues. Brake lights - No one checked, which is my fault. Due to the wishy washy response on Monday at noon to this safety issue I went to the lot ( I was nearby) and got it fixed in under fifteen minutes. Finally. Spare key - This car has a transponder key and we asked at the time of sale for a second. When I returned the next day for the light issue I was again reassured they would have a locksmith out. It has finally been confirmed as a chip key and now they want $40 for their costs. This car only came with one key which is unacceptable for this kind of key. It was a cash straight up sale for a reliable car. I never received information on the oil changes (where to go) or the number for the 24 hour towing/repair service I get for the first year. I was already hesitant to buy from Kendall because of bad past experiences. At that time there was a salesman at Kendall Ford that had handled all my family/friends buys for over a decade that sold to my family for over a decade to go to bat for me. Dont have that anymore. Overall disappointed. If the lights had been fixed immediately and a spare key given it would have been fine. I only have one key only for this car and no locksmith in town can make even a service key for it. I just want a second key. If a service key can be found so I can have it in my purse all the better but with a transponder it seems like a second key is mandatory in case the first fails etc. My father bought a certified used Ford from Kendall a couple of years ago and managed to get a second key after sale. I guess thats the difference between a $30k sale to them and an $8k sale to them. While I wont say dont buy from Kendall, I will say to get everything in writing even if its just something as silly as getting a spare key. That should honestly be standard.

Recently I purchased a 2004 Chevy Silverado at Kendall Budget in Eugene OR. the sales team was very helpful and pretty laid back. They did a great job getting me the financing and it was a great experience from start to finish. Te purpose for the purchase was to haul my 5th wheel and this is where Kendall really showed their quality of service and commitment to the customer. While hauling my trailer to a campground on the McKenzie river about 2 weeks after buying the truck it stalled and would not start. After trying to figure out what to do I called Bob the manager of the budget lot, he went all out for me and had a tow truck there withing the hour and had the 5th wheel towed to our camp spot and the truck towed to the service center. It took 5 days to figure out the cause of the problem but i had a rental paid for by the dealership during the time they had the truck. I have not had a problem with the truck since in fact i was so impressed i made a second purchase of a 2012 Honda Civic before i was finished and the service i received through both purchases will keep me coming back to Kendall whenever i have the need, and they are the only car sales group i will wholeheartedly recommend to any who ask. Many thanks to Bob, Tony and the staff at Kendall Budget for renewing my faith that buying a car should not be a chore but something to enjoy

I purchased a 2008 Ford Mustang with 116k miles. It had a slight serpentine belt squeak which I mentioned to the salesman. He said that since they are giving me such a good deal, drive it and if it doesnt get better, bring it in. On the way home from the lot, the car stalled and the check engine light came on. They had me bring it in and had me write down the problems, which included the squeaking noise. They replaced a fuel injection component, good on them, but neglected the squeak. I called.the salesman, he texted me saying that he went over the list with the mechanic. Now, the car sounds like it has a cage full of gerbils under the hood. Now the salesman is telling me it has to go through his manager. My family has been loyal Kendall customers for three generations. UPDATE Bob Magallan from Kendall called, was very professional and apologetic. He handled the situation with the car in which I am very satisfied. As I stated, my family has been doing business with Kendall since it opened. I can say that they will stand behind theyre product and its good to see people like Bob working for Kendall. Thanks Bob Magallan

My boyfriend and i were looking to purchase a used vehicle but we had pretty bad credit and little income to work with. Bruce at Kendall Budget Sales took care of us from the start and was able to answer all our questions which were many as we were both first time car buyers. Our biggest issue when shopping around with other dealers was that we either didnt have enough money down or couldnt get financing. The people at Kendall worked really hard and were able to get us financing and even worked with our partial down payment until we had the rest at the end of the month. In the end we were able to walk out the door with the vehicle we wanted and best of all we loved that the people at Kendall were caring and understanding of our situation. We are very grateful for the staff at Kendall Budget Sales for their hard work, understanding, and overall care that they had shown us through our big decision making process. Thanks to Kendall we have a car with payments we can afford and can start rebuilding our credit. I would highly recommend Kendall to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle.
