My daughter goes to OSU and she had her car break down over in Woodburn area. It was towed to a mechanic in that area that obviously doesnt know much about cars or was just taking advantage of my daughter. They said it was the alternator that was bad and replaced it for $400. My daughter thinking the car was fixed, drove back to Corvallis and it broke down again the next day. She had a friend help her tow it to G & J Auto Center for a diagnosis on what was wrong with the car. Well come to find out that the people that put the alternator in didnt check or change and of the battery cables and it drained the new alternator. Ron from G & J call and told me what we needed to do and how much it would cost. Was told that the other mechanic was a Napa dealer and told that to Ron. Ron did all the calling and figuring out of this for us. Come to find out that they were a Napa dealer and that most everything was covered to have it fixed. We were thinking we would have to pay another $400 to get it running again. Ron was so helpful and very understanding in the whole thing. We cant thank him enough for all the kind customer service and knowledge of everything!! I would recommend this Auto Center to everyone!!!!!!! Thanks again for everything. :)

VERY VERY BAD!!!!! Id put more !! but you get the point. Customer service was just as bad as the repair they "said" they did, which they did not even fix the problem. Cost over $800. Went back to complain and they nearly thru me out, saying they were the professionals, not me. Told me to drive it for 100 miles then come back. It was a steering problem. How am I suppose to drive it for 100 mi safely? I would give -0 scores if I could.

We went to Firestone originally for an alignment and they told us they couldnt even touch it and gave us a list of things we "needed" to the tune of a thousand dollars. Went to G and J for a second opinion and they were fair and honest and we ended up getting our problem fixed for much, much less. We so appreciate the attentive and quality service and we will be back here for everything we need for our car. Thanks guys!

I brought my Car in for repair after going to the dealership. These guys charged me 300 less than the dealership was going to for the exact same repair. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I totally trust them to fix what my car needs and tell me about my car even if it is not good news. They will inform you and let you make the decision not just pressure you into doing what is best for their shop.

Went in to get tires rotated under American Car Care warranty, they would not rotate them as the tread was "too low". They said the fronts were at 1/32inch, which they arent; they were worn, but not that worn out. I will gladly take my business elsewhere. Just another tire shop that would rather sell new tires over providing existing customers routine service.

Moved to Corvallis with 3 vehicles all needing repairs. Upon recommendation, we took them all to G&J, and all vehicles made return trips to G&J for faulty parts and misdiagnosed problems. If this had just been one vehicle, I would say that its not such a big deal, but the poor service was consistent with 3 cars. Very disappointed.

The guys at G and J are amazing. They were extremely friendly and helpful with our tires, fixing our wheel bearings, and they even dealt with our unhelpful warranty company for us. After getting crap service at a previous repair place in Corvallis, we will definitely be back to G and J whenever we need anything done to our car.
