A very cold day. My car was in the Chevron station just across the parking lot from this Discount Import store in need of a jump - it wouldnt start after fueling. The gas station attendant said he had no way to jump it (so much for "service stations"). Walked across the parking lot to this Discount Import auto parts store thinking that was the next logical place to try. Asked if I could get a jump and told them that Id buy a battery from them if that was the problem. All I got was "Nope, sorry. maybe when our delivery guy gets back" Asked when that might be "no idea , hes got several deliveries". There was literally nobody else in the store except the 3 guys behind the counter. One suggested I try the locksmith just across the parking lot. I did and the locksmith had one of those portable batteries which started the car right up. I did not bother stopping at this Discount Import shop to purchase a battery preferring to take my business elsewhere.

Been shopping at DIP for probably close to a decade now, always the best place to go for parts for my VW. Its a great place not only for repair parts, but maintenance parts as well, and they carry all of the hard to find European spec oil to meet VW specs and not void your sludge warranty. NAPA or Autozone will just hand you whatever the book says is correct, but the guys at DIP know that you want the diesel filter for your 1.8T and stuff like that. And its a local company which is always nice.

Probably one of the few parts stores left whose employees actually know what they are doing. Go almost anywhere else these days and you will find a 20 year old kid that probably doesnt even have a drivers license. Ive often taken the part into other stores and they still cant find the correct part. This is the only place Ill buy parts for my import vehicles, just wish they had a sister store for domestic parts.

Should change their name from Import Parts to German Parts. I went for a Toyota air filter, 10mm nut driver and chamois. After waiting a long time for the staff to finish multiple calls (their #1 priority) they had the air filter but nothing else. Other customers buying German specialty parts seemed more satisfied than me.

Old school autoparts store with personal approach and very competitive pricing. I go there for odd and rare parts, they can order almost everything, not excluding domestic! Dont get me wrong, Autozone is ok but they just dont have it on their advanced computer ;)

This is THE place to go for European cars. Excellent customer service reps that are knowledgeable and they are always willing to help you with your build or daily driver. I ordered a part this morning and it arrived same day. Thank you !!!!!!

Great source for VW, BMW parts and they also stock OEM Honda MTF! If they dont have it in stock, they can get most things same day if you call ahead.
