I will NEVER shop there again!!! Although not a regular, per say, at this store, I had been a customer many times during the past 6 years. Todays visit to purchase a pack of smokes, was unexceptional as I made my purchase while making small talk with the cashier, as customers often do, and as Id often done on previous visits. Although the cashier working this visit was new, we casually chatted after I inquired about the their new policy which charges an additional $0.25 to customers making a purchase less than $4.00 on a debit or credit card. I paid in cash. Although the store was empty, minus one other customer, not wanting to keep the cashier from her work, I thanked her, and returned to my vehicle, before deciding to have a much needed smoke, while send a few texts messages, before getting back on the road. Admittingly, one smoke turned into three, as I remained parked in their lot (engine off), which had plenty of parking available, while I enjoyed an extended chat with friends. My attention was soon diverted as 2 uniformed city police officers arrived at the store. One officer entered the store, while the 2nd appeared to maintain a visual on the stores lot. However, I was SHOCKED when a few minutes later both officers approached my vehicle to inform me that the cashier had called to report ME as a suspicious loiterer, and that since she was closing in another half hour, she was worried about a possible robbery attempt, even though she had exclaimed to police I had just been a customer!!! WTF???? I mean, maybe I could understand if there had been ANY POSSIBLE other reason for her calling the police, or if the cashier was in fact, young or elderly. Maybe even if their store, or employee had recently been victimized by crime.But, IN FACT, this store had not been recently targeted, and this cashier was middle-aged, well above my age, and obviously no stranger to working a convenience store! The cashiers only reason was fear of a potential robbery?? SERIOUSLY?? I wonder what spooked the poor dear?? Was it the leather jacket I wore?? Maybe the LUXURY SPORTS CAR I drive?? My long hair?? OR, was it that this stores running policy towards their paying, repeat customers is, "BUY SOMETHING, GET OUT, LEAVE THE PREMISES, and (oh yeah!)... Thank you, come again soon!!!" I believe the latter, since police informed me the cashier had contacted the stores manager/owner prior to their arrival, and because I was not told that I couldnt return to the store... HOW INSULTING!!... As hard as it is to quit smoking, in general, the only positive thing I can say of this DISGUSTING experience is that now this store has helped me (all the more) to quit, since I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS STORE AGAIN!! ... I would rate this store a BIG FAT ZERO STARS, if possible!!

I buy my smokes here like clockwork. Two cartons of Pall Mall red kings for me, two cartons of Camel Wides for the wife every two weeks. Have been doing so for going on four years now. They have the lowest prices in the area (usually 30-40 cents less than everywhere else a pack.) They are very friendly, always chatting with customers, and just really nice people. I cant say enough good things about Discount Ciggaretes and the people who work there.
