While there are always bargains to be had, most go there for clothing. Most of the racks are intended to be separated by size & color. If you are between sizes, or you are one size in shirts, & another in pants, it sounds silly but take a measuring tape to ensure a good fit! No womens clothing is consistent in their sizes, sometimes even varying within the same brand or designer for the same SIZE AND STYLE (trust me on this as the sales are final). Be prepared to spend a good deal of time if you want articles that appear to be very gently worn & not laundered in hot water to the point of shrinking 1-2 sizes (depending on the fabric of course). Most of the time, you can tell by the price & the presence of pilling on a lot of todays fabrics. They have a reasonable amount of vintage clothing, but throughout the store, many items are flawed with stains, tears, missing buttons, or seams unraveling (hence the reason you wont wish to go if you dont have time to spare)! If you havent been before, they also have shoes, accessories, sleepwear, evening wear, coats, mens & childrens apparel, household decor, gadgets for the kitchen, dishes matched or not, small appliances, electronics, duffle bags, totes, sometimes lunch boxes, tents, luggage, linens, wall decor, furniture for most rooms in your dwelling. Keep in mind there are specific days when color coded tags are marked down even more, yet I still havent remembered to have something to write down which days have what! You might wish to call ahead if this location has the number listed online, b/c the discount days have different percentages off. Staff have always been friendly & helpful. The inventory of clothing is often very crowded on the racks - thought I might lose my arm in there (lol), & often garments are in the floor or just shoved in without the hanger. All things considered, if you are on a tight budget, & you have time to kill, you may be surprised how much you can save. I have seen them accept personal checks but you will need valid ID. Same goes with credit & debit cards.

Very reasonable prices and a wide selection of products that are frequently rotated out with new stock. Half-price clothing on wednesdays, other merchandise is reduced in price throughout the week based on color coding. Very large selection of quality furniture. One of my favorite thrift stores in the city, lots of hidden treasures and good bargains. My one complaint: sorting merchandise is done seemingly arbitrary and sometimes they will re-arrange or re-categorize sections of the store and greatly damage the consumer experience in the process. Mens and Womens coats were merged at one point a couple of years ago and they briefly eliminated the plus size section, Im going to guess because whoever was in charge hated women and fat people? This has since been corrected (after a year of repeated complaints and getting the same "we didnt make the call and we hate it too" response) but I worry itll happen again. If you work here or manage here, please read this and take my advice: dont do it again!

Prices were outrageous, staff was loud and unfriendly. Looking for table and chairs ended up finding it at Walmart new for $40 dollars cheaper. Is this a place to help people or line their pockets at this particular Salvation Army store. Others are great this one is horrible.

This is a strictly donation business. But any items that new or a little more expensive at regular stores are marked a 2 or 3 dollars less than regular stores and sometimes more.

Prices are too high for used items. They price as if its new, regardless of dents, scratch or breakage. Thats why its so much stuff noone pays the prices
