Let me preface this with:I have never angrily stormed out of a business because of something causing me so much discontent... until Sunday, March 5th, 2017, at this store. Ive been into this location a few different times, have found a few nice odds and ends, and all around have had an OK experience there, nothing to write home about, nothing worthy of leaving a good or bad review one way or the other. Will I let this negative experience influence whether or not I return to that location? No, probably not unless I have one more negative experience. So, yesterday I spent some time visiting the various Goodwills around the Omaha metro area, went to the locations in Papillion and on 144th and L, both are wonderful stores that really had a nice variety of items that day. I was really after a nice low cost hall table for my new apartment. This was the last location we were going to visit that day. Walked in, and low and behold in the furniture section, a perfect piece of furniture that wouldve made a great hall table. I picked it up, decided I liked it, and was wandering around the store with it in arms while we looked at other items. I sat the cabinet down to look at some other goods, and not a moment right after when my back was partially turned an employee of this location scurried over and proceeded to snatch it up without saying a word to me. I excused her, she just said and I quote, "This item is already sold." in a very curt manner and proceeded to carry it off. I was just left sort of astonished, then angry. Ill explain why I was angry. It wasnt the fact that the item had sold, and I was already a bit attached to the item. It was the fact that said employee didnt approach me while I was carrying it around. No. Just waited until I had sat it down and was going to sneak it away from me. How unprofessional?! Plus, it was a sold item. Do not leave your sold items just unmarked and sitting on the display floor. I invite the company to speak to me about this. I feel as though I deserve an apology on account of that employees poor choice in how she handled the matter, and I would like to hear a course of action on how they would make sure something like this doesnt happen again... would be as simple as not leaving sold items on display, or at least marking them as sold with a piece of paper with SOLD taped to them. I hope this review is of some help, or entertainment, to people that currently shop at or are considering shopping at this location. I felt the need to rant about how unprofessional that employee was. I aimed to not be biased in my review, but share my experience.

Theyre asking 50$ for a purse. i dont know why they dont understand that theyre a thrift store. Hand me downs. Wasnt even that expensive brand name to begin with. their stuff gets donated for free there prices should reflect this. i dont know never been a fan of goodwill in any way. Most thrift stores do cheaper deals if you buy entire plate sets with cups and bowls and such every store does theirs buy each piece seperate which I hate personal opinion obviously

This one by far is nice and clean. The cashier my friend and I had today was patient with us as we had a lot of holiday clearance items. The line was backing up aadd when someone in a snotty tone asked for another checker, and the cashier was patient and nice and said she was the only one working. Kudos to her

The best store they have in Omaha. The service is very good, always very clean bathroom and the person at the door always polite. Recomiendo a todos los Hispanos que vallan a esta tienda.

Was dropping off 8 big boxes of clothing and purses and the guy working there did NOT even help me unload the boxes. I will NEVER donate to goodwill again

Decently priced for excellent to new condition clothing & miscellaneous items. Well worth the bus rides to/from. Located on bus route 14 at 108 & blondo.
