The selection here of clothing is very hit or miss. Most things are overpriced, mainly the shoe department. The management at this location needs to have a better pricing system. Holes were in a lot of the childrens tops and stained. Most clothing in the mens department was very dingy and needed to be recycled. Just because something is new with tags from walmart doesnt give a charitable organization the right to price it higher than it was initially at Wal-Mart. The employees here act very bothered when you ask them a question and become annoyed when you check out, especially when any type of discount or sale is going on. The turnover at this place is high and the staff is under trained. I was charged for the same suit 3 times and a bottle of perfume was placed on top of a pair of slacks, it ended up spilling all over the slacks before I got home. I took it back to the store was told that i wouldnt be receiving any type of refund or exchange because it happened after I left the store. Management really needs to pay close attention to whom they hire and how the store is operated.

Better than average independent thrift store, great for bargain-hunters. Usually make it by here about once a week on Sundays, when they do their half-off discounts, or Thursdays when miscellaneous stuff is 99cents. Mondays are also good for 99cent clothing, but its pretty picked over if you dont get there first thing in the morning. Some examples: last year, picked up a self-propelled Murray mower for less than it would cost to clean the carburetor on my old one-- and still running strong. This week managed to snag a Ralph Lauren casual blazer/coat, along with a fairly new (albeit out-of-season) fleece for a buck each, a bunch of fairly recent paperbacks for 45 cents each and a Blu-Ray of The Wild Bunch for 88 cents. But thats atypical -- so your mileage may vary.

I have been to this thrift store many times and i love it ...I tend to think their clothing is a overpriced....7 bucks for a used button down with a stain on the sleve...really....but they always have good stuff ...the best time to go is when the items are half off...the staff are always nice and helpfull ...honestly id love to work there...then you could see all the deals I miss...got a perfectly good working kingsized waterbed with rails and heater out of there for 70 bucks....you cant beat that.....got some more stuff too I work on computers and i always seem to find cool useful things like routers and all in ones for the cheap...they are too proud of some of their stuff...but i would compare them with savers....too bad there isnt a savers out here....

I just moved into Tulsa a few months ago. I missed my stores in Norman. I have been to many, many thrift stores all over the OKC metro. The Quality Thrift Store is awesome! It made me feel like I wanted to shop there all day. I dont understand the people saying the cashiers are rude, they are not. They are sometimes away from the register because they have to sort, stock, and rehang clothes as well as perform cashiers duties.(God forbid anyone should have to work for a living!) Those who say they are rude and unhelpful should try to be more patient when in public. No one likes pushy people. Overall I would say I have a new favourite store to shop in.....Yay! Thanks Quality Thrift for letting a chubby man find cool clothes and neat stuff on the cheap!!!!

I was in their store last week - the women who work there are just plain rude. Even after ringing the bell 4 TIMES over a 10 minute period, one came up just looked at me then opened a fitting room door then growled that I had better put the clothes I do not want back on the rail outside - then when I finally tried on the clothes and was putting the others back another women who worked there said asked why I did not want the clothes that I had put back !!!!!! Needless to say, I did not even buy the clothes that I had tried on and had wanted - I will NEVER go there again and from some of the other customers that heard all of this - they said the same thing too.....I have never met such rude and could not care less people in my life.....

Its a decent spot for finding those occasional premium brand and boutique items for a more advanced thrift. I picked up a gorgeous bohemian Boston proper skirt nwt for $5 (retail price $149). You wont find a lot of boutique pieces here, but you can certainly dig up some good J. Crew/Ralph Lauren type items or vintage (like new Odett Barsli lace house frock). Costume section is usually good. Household items no great but those occasional delicious kitsch pieces. Toys mostly crap but again look out for the hidden gems which exist there. Staff is decent and mostly friendly. A lot of PoWM type shoppers hang there. Happy hunting!

Disappointed when I went on Tuesday. I had picked up the flyer when I was there on Monday and noticed the $.88 sale. The flyer says "all clothing ending in "8" will be .88 cents - except current colors." When I went in the store I looked at the current colors which were three BUT I was informed that ONLY the white tags were on sale - not the blue nor the orange which were NOT the current colors - FALSE advertising!!!! They need to change the flyer if they are not going to abide by their advertising statements. And guess what - I never saw a white tag in the clothing that I looked at.

Really rude employees...found a few items and one shirt that I absolutely loved. The shirt I wanted didnt have a price on it so I asked about it when I went to check out. The lady never sympathized or apologized but said "cant sell it with no tag" and I simply told her "aww it was my favorite shirt." SHE FLAT OUT GOES "too bad, nothin we can do about it." I asked if she could maybe hold it for me and she half laughed and goes "nope." I left in tears without buying anything because she was so rude to me. Never again.

The staff seem to have an almost elitist air about their posts, acting more like sentries in an internment camp than helpful servitors of secondhand wares. The pricing also seems almost arbitrary, I was even unable to purchase an item because it had no tag. Then the same item, along with various other merchandise ended up around the dumpster out back. Im not sure what type of buisness plan they are following, but I am sure that the BBB would be interested to know. The IRS as well.

Although they have sales every day there are too many rules. I used to work for them and the owner is very greedy and doesnt treat his employees well. Theres no benefits and even if u ask for a day off weeks in advanced they find someway to not let u get it off. No raises and i worked there 7 months. They were going to give me a promotion then gave it to someone else without saying a word to me. Only gooddays to shop is mondays and last friday of the month.

I have been there a few times. The first time I looked around to see what they had, I left with nothing because it was all junk, with things they shouldnt even be selling! The second time I went there I was turned off by the prices and the junk they still had. They charge almost full priced on used stained clothing,The owners are laughing all the way to the bank on selling high priced junk that they got for free.
