I just walked in today to get my first tattoo. I was a little concerned - this tattoo was a suprise for my dad, and I needed a same-day. I originally wanted to go to Brookside, but I know they were backed up for months. My boyfriend recomended that we come here, where he had all of his done. I was skeptical, at first, because of some of the poor reviews. The experience was far, FAR more pleasant than I ever thought. Cliff, the owner, was my artist. The assistant was a little off in the pricing quote, but Cliff gave me a more accurate one. It was $70 more than what I was told initially, but it was absolutely WORTH IT. I brought in an image from an old book that was published in the 70s, my dad has the same tattoo, and I wanted to suprise him. Cliff did wonders to it - my dads faded and looks pretty poor now, but Cliff stressed over and over that he was going to try and make sure none of it would blur together (since it was fairly detailed). His attention to detail and strive for accuracy was amazing. Cliff and the assistant (looks like Jonah Hill, if Im being honest) were not only professional, but completely friendly. You can tell they are very passionate about what they do, and they have common sense when it comes to dealing with customers! I brought in some friends that were tagging along, and we all talked during the two hours he worked on my arm. Everything was clean, it was very spacious, very wonderful, and Cliffs team has earned three customers for life. I will never go anywhere else.

I went to get some shading done...easy right it took 15 maybe 20 mins which I thought was unusual for the amount of space I was getting done. The artist was REV. Nice guy to talk to maybe at a coffee shop but as far as his work goes..its HORRIBLE and to top it off for just that short amount of time I spent in his chair he charged me $100 which is crazy!!! When I got home and took the bandage off and some of the swelling had gone done and the bleeding stop! I was shocked.... Im so embarassed to even show my back piece. He told me to come back in to fix...F**K that ya keep my money and screw off...now I must got to a much better shop, which I should have done in the beginning! and have to spend another $100 effing Bullshit!I would never go back. I had my hood done there and i had to remove 3wks later because it was barely any skin to hold the ring....basically about to rip out any minute! I wish the best to anyone who decide they want work there. :(

If I could rate lower than a 1 star I would, my tattoo is SO UNEVEN! I got my tattoo done around April 6, 2016 by the guy that it stationed closest to the front door (cant remember his name) I have never had a problem with my tattoos before (as far as the ink looking like its bleeding) THIS ONE LOOKS LIKE THAT, it blows my mind at how crappy it looks! The lines look like he was shaking or purposely making mistakes the whole time. It was a very simple tattoo and he wanted to redirect our thoughts or opinions the whole time with rude and hateful comments. VERY rude staff, any question you have they are very snappy towards you and just an overall crappy experience. Would NEVER recommend the shop to ANYONE! This is the worst I would of ever expected out of at tattoo shop and this was the most expensive. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Totally agree with MrsSnapp88, very rude staff toward women!

Went in to get my snake bite piercing redone. It had been healed up for 8 years but kinda missed having it. I told the guy working there on a Sunday to just redo the 2 existing holes. Afterwards, the left side was not lined up with the right side, not even close. I asked about this and his reply was that its due to different sizes in the rings...Huh?! He also didnt give any advice on how to care for the piercings and said he doesnt recommend using saline or salt water for rinsing. Needless to say, if I had not done research afterwards, my lips would still be swollen. After using salt water for rinsing, the swelling almost immediately went away but just for the fact that he couldnt even get the holes lined up correctly is enough for me to say beware. I will get my left side redone but not at this establishment....

This place is great. I took in a basic idea of the tattoo I wanted, and Rev modified it to make it look even better and add a little personality to it. He also drew up the design with my budget in mind so I wouldnt end up dropping $500 when it was all finished. The drawing took about 45 minutes, and the tattoo work was about 2 hours. The entire time, Rev was very professional and carried on a conversation with me to make the experience a little less painful. His work is excellent - very clean lettering and great coloring. The other guys in the shop were very helpful and personable to their customers as well. I would highly recommend this place (and Rev specifically) to anyone who was thinking about getting a tattoo.

I was a tattoo virgin when I came here with my bestie. I wanted to get her a tattoo for her birthday present. Neither one of us knew what we wanted and it was our first time getting a tat. NEVER tell them that. Be prepared and know what you want and do your research.. I definitely will not be returning. On a lighter note, the artists were cool and the atmosphere was nice. I was over charged for 2 small silver dollar tats. It was a little over $400 for a simple cherry for me and a sun for my bestie. If you decide to go to this place.. make sure to bring someone who knows if theyre trying to scam you.

I have had 2 piercings and 1 tattoo done here. I HIGHLY recommend them for piercings, they were clean, fast, and nice. My tattoo was done by Big John, and I HATE it. I showed him exactly what I wanted and it looks nothing like it. He was very dry, not exactly rude, but he didnt really care about anything I had to say. I hate that I spent $100 on a tattoo that I am fixing to pay someone else to cover up. I went back in after three weeks and they told me they couldnt fix it for another 2-3 weeks (which is fine) but they want to charge $150-200!!! For their own screw up! Find somewhere else!!!

Ive been here a couple of times. Once to get a band-aid size tattoo on my wrist and another time to get a rook piercing. The place is very clean and the artists are professional, but their attitudes are not so great. Im usually pretty tolerant to "snobbish" personalities, but I cant promise that for every person. If youre new to tattoos and piercings, I would recommend trying somewhere a little more friendly and customer service-like. If you dont mind the bad boy kind of attitude then by all means, check these guys out. They really are good at what they do.

Me and my sisters went in to get matching tattoos and the guy was extremely rude. We had a couple of ideas that we wanted and everything we showed him he had something negative and rude to say about it. They were all simple tattoos and he said he couldnt do it off a pictures we had found on our phone. If he was a good artist it shouldnt have been that hard to copy such a simple tattoo. And he said very offensive things to us, as us being women.
