After spending the last couple of months car shopping, I was pleasantly surprised by most dealers attempts at being transparent - until I reached Norman Mitsubishi. I saw an ad that they listed on Craigslist with a particular car. I called the number and did not get an answer. A few minutes later, a girl named Brittany called me back advising that she was returning a missed car. After I explained that I was interested in a car that I saw online and may stop by, she said "great, I will be here until 9 p.m." I didnt make it in that night and over the next few weeks Brittany called me incessantly every day even calling my job. We finally made it to the dealership. I had filled out a credit application online, but when I arrived no one knew where it was and required me to fill out another paper application reassuring me that they were not running my credit again. The car that I was told was there was not there. In fact, none of the cars posted that day were there. The salesman tried to convince me to purchase a new car. We were going through all the steps, but something didnt feel right. Everything took an extremely long time. We literally sat for hours with other disgruntled customers for paperwork that should have taken minutes. No one could tell us who the lender was or what the price of the vehicle was. It was frustrating and at almost 11 p.m. we decided to leave. The dealers tried to get us to sign paperwork anyway telling us to leave our down payment, sign the papers and that they would deliver us the car. We said that we would return. A group of them hounded us until my husband just told them flat out "No!" Over the next week, Brittany called and texted us multiple times a day. She told me that they could save us more money and meet our terms, etc. That weekend, we went back and my husband discovered that there was hail damage all over the car. When we brought it to their attention, they told me that the car had already been marked down accordingly when the insurance check was received. I pulled out my phone and showed them that the car was $2000 less on the Mitsubishi site and at other car lots with no hail damage. They send over another salesman who is a washed up, has been football player who attempted to bully us into accepting the deal even saying "well, you can leave then." At one point I even overheard the general manager, an overweight sloppily dressed man, talking about my husband and I in the office with his merry band of thieves. The salesmen tried to get me to falsify my paystubs and even told me how! In the end, my credit was run 3 times! When I refused to falsify my pay stubs and accept a deal that was completely ridiculous for a car that was hail damaged, they came out after 11 p.m. (we arrived at 6 p.m.) and told us we were denied. This place is unprofessional and I dont understand how they are still in business. This is the biggest bait and switch, scheming outfit I have ever encountered looking for a car. I was able to get the same car at a different dealership in an hour with no problems for a lower price. Do not waste your time with these crooks.

I walked into Norman Mitsubishi on a Monday, my fiancé and I were greeted by Nolan. I think we were fortunate to have Nolan, who listened to what I was looking for, and did very well to include my fiancé in the discussion. Nolan took the time to explain to us the various models of used trucks that were available, we both kind of knew what we wanted but were unsure as to what was available and what some of the features were that were included with the trucks they had in their inventory, the 2 door vs. 4 door pick-ups, 4x4 vs. 4x2, and so on. No push, no rush, and my fiancé was very happy to see what the options were. Nolan did a quick check of your inventory, and took us straight to the truck that he thought would fit all of our needs. I wasn’t thinking silver, but boy, we sure did like the truck. When we went on the test drive it was like Nolan wasn’t even there, he kept quiet but answered any and all questions that we had (a little unusual in our experience with car dealers over the years). For the two of us, being able to talk to each other during the test drive made the decision to buy much easier. I gave Nolan the key for the vehicle we were looking to use as a trade-in, and an offer was ready when we came in from the test drive. Once I told Nolan that we wanted to buy the Ram 1500, the paperwork process flowed very smoothly, there were no unexpected surprises. This did not seem like the typical car buying experience, I didn’t at any time have the feeling of “signing my life away” that I have had in the past. Nolan made sure that the Ram 1500 was cleaned, filled up with gas, and made sure that we both knew how all of the functions of the truck worked. Nolan made my car buying experience a memorable one, and not the often times horror story memory that we often encounter with buying a car. My fiancé and I were both so pleased with the customer service that was provided by Nolan and Norman Mitsubishi that we would recommend anyone that is in the market for a new or used car or motorcycle to go there first. The used inventory was full of high quality, well priced, vehicles (we were shocked when he told us the price, and in a good way). We love our Ram 1500 and the buying process was a no stress experience. Go check out Norman Mitsubishi and visit Nolan, I am sure he will be able to find the vehicle that you want at a price you can’t refuse.

We drove almost two hours to this dealer to purchase a car. We are moving out of country and needed to lower car payments to save money. A reliable car we could use, pay off and then sell when we moved. We first went there and picked a vehicle. Husband started the deal, but then saw a newer car with less miles and tried to get that one. We were approved for the 02 vehicle with 150k miles but the Honda was an 09 with 70k miles but we were told we werent approved. (To this day I feel like that was BS). We were tired and had been there all day with a baby and two small children, so we went with the truck. During this process another family showed up and said they drove two hours as well for the truck. We felt terrible that we had just bought a vehicle they were promised over the phone. We started it in the morning and they showed up around 3 pm . The least the dealer could do was call them up and say they sold it. Now it has been all day, with a baby and two small children so we were just done. We settled for the truck. On the way home it broke down! We make it home and the next day my husband calls the dealer raising hell. They said bring it up and see what they could do. I thought, "okay maybe they are half way decent". My husband switches to an 08 audi. He said they had issues starting it because of the battery being dead. No problem..that can happen. Well a week after the check engine light goes on. Then the doors start randomly unlocking and locking. We thought it was the key battery so we switched it and it seemed to work fine. Then I get locked in my car, on a hot day with my baby! Car wouldnt turn on, wouldnt unlock the door and it is getting hot quick. (It was in the 90s that day) I was about to call 911 to help me out but thankfully my door unlocked and I could get my baby out by crawling through my door. This could have ended a lot worse! We havent even made the first payment on this car and already forking over more than 2000 to fix it. I will now have no vehicle for a month because my husband is at school half a country away with our only working car. (Mad is an understatement right now) I really believe they do not look at the cars, or just sell them knowing what is wrong. Perhaps they just need to fire the mechanic. I dont know what their deal is but that was a terrifying experiance! For your safety do not buy used cars from this dealership!
