I went in today about ten minutes before close with the intention of filling up a few water jugs, grabbing one or two items, and getting out quickly . I was only there a few minutes when one of the workers came up to me and said very rudely "We close in four minutes, wrap it up." Now, I work in the restaurant/retail business. I understand wanting people to leave so you can get home. But never would I say to a customer, "Wrap it up". Thats terrible customer service. And considering this is a grocery store, where the average person shops 15 minutes or so, even if I did stay longer, it would hardly set them back. In a restaurant, if someone walks in two minutes to close, you bite your lip, smile, and serve them just as you would every other guest. You deal with it. So suffice it to say, my experience here today was very poor. I dont know if Ill be returning again, and if I do, it will only be to use the water machine (though they have those at Kroger too, so I dont know). And this isnt the first time that Ive encountered poor customer service here either. I think they should seriously reconsider who they allow to work here. Because the only real draw otherwise is their selection, though you can find alot of the items they carry at a Trader Joes, probably for considerably cheaper too.

This store is a joke. I can get past the high prices, but the employees are HORRIBLE. One of them actually pushed my Mother while walking up the aisle. My Mom was just standing there reading labels and this female employee pushed past my Mom so forcefully that it made her stagger. The employee offered an "excuse me" and kept walking. No one there will go the extra mile and sometimes you literally have to chase the employees around the store to get some help. Its just around the corner from us, but today was the last straw. Id rather drive 15 minutes to get decent service at Whole Foods or Earth Fare. BTW, they have horrible chemicals in some of their pre-made sushi items, so buyer beware.

Raisin Rack has the best selection and lowest prices...as well as the most helpful and knowledgeable staff...of natural food and homeopathic type products in Central Ohio! I can get some things cheaper on Amazon, but not everything... and sometimes I dont want to wait for something to ship! Terrific selection of gluten-free foods that I havent seen at Meijer or Kroger...essential oils...probiotics...organic foods and supplements...bulk items like herbs, teas, nuts and grains...HUGE selection of bagged teas...natural pet products...and SO MUCH MORE! Plus a by-the-pound fresh food bar and deli! Love this place!

i live in austin, tx and have become frustrated with whole foods. most of their food is no longer whole and no longer organic. raisin rack has - as far as i could tell - *only* organic foods, which sounds obvious but it has become more and more rare to find. the staff at the smoothie bar were extraordinarily helpful and kind and i just love the place. What an oasis in a world full of carcinogenic pesticides. love it love it love it.

Used to be a great place to shop, has gone down hill over the years. Dont count on being able to buy the same product from week to week as they do a poor job of restocking. The gluten free section seems to be slowly expanding at the detriment of other items. The final straw was our 5/15 purchase of chicken that we noticed after we had got home had expired in April and was rancid. Paying a premium for food I expect more.

Great idea - great products - really bad service. Wanted to buy some stuffed grape leaves off the "fresh bar"; an hour before closing and were told that "we already put the utensils away so you can get any" really nobody can get some utensils to make a customer happy? With competition like whole foods and fresh fair down the street a small store should go out of its way to make a customer happy.

Dark lighting, boxes all over the isles, & poor customer service. I equate the experience to walking into an Aldis with 2/3 of the lights out with a 6000% price hike. I went looking for a product they said they had, they had similar products in 4 different corners of their store, but not the specific product. I will not ever go back again. Trust me on this, save your time, go to Whole foods.

The store is always clean and nice, and I know that all of the produce is organic , as well as many other things in the store. Those that work there are always very pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and willing to explain things. They go out of their way to help the customers and have special ordered things for me, which I truly appreciated. I will continue to keep going back.

Love the cafe. Has nearly everything Im looking for when it comes to supplements or foods for alternative diets. It was my go to when my kiddo couldnt eat dairy, eggs, or gluten on a vegetarian diet. Also found organic corn on the cob (which was local), which is really hard to find usually. Prices are comparable to Whole Foods.

The second best thing about Raisin Rack is the cafe area (fantastic sandwiches and smoothies). Also, Ive never actually purchased anything off the salad bar, but it always looks good. And I appreciate the list of ingredients for their soups. My favorite thing about Raisin Rack is being able to easily find ingredients I need.

Everything is nice, but if youre there close to closing, they will find you and tell you to go to checkout... I got to the register at 9 on the dot. Made me not buy a few more things and this happened a few times since Im only able to go after work. They really push you out

Had a great experience today. My son got the gluten free grilled cheese, my wife got the ham sandwich wrap and I got the cheesy bean wrap. Price was reasonable even for gluten free products which are normally higher cost. Totally recommend this place for lunch.

Employees are difficult to find and even they dont know where stuff is if you ask them. It took three people to help us find what we were looking for. The high prices and small selection of goods makes this place a last ditch location to find something.

Love this place! My favorite for groceries, supplements, and lunches. The guys in the cafe are knowledgeable and friendly. This is a great local business that I highly recommend. I like to go in without a grocery list and just explore.

Sadly Kroger is getting better about its organic/health food selections and prices. It is driving competition with the specialty store. Raisin Rack still has its purpose and that is affordable bulk spices.

Great place for a healthy meal, terrific fresh juice bar, and organic in season produce. Definitely has the "mom & pop health food store" vibe in the best of ways. No corporate conglomerate here!

Great stop for those of us looking for quality food, outside of the Whole Foods oligarchy. Featuring produce occasionally from Yoder Family Farm, our local favorite in the Fredericktown area.
