Ive ate at this establishment for years now and theres always something a little off with the wait staff but the food is usually fairly good. Today I couldnt even get to try the mediocre wrap around this restaurant does. The hassle is usually worth it, for the food. My family and I went to have dinner @ 6.. We stood waiting for a table to be issued to us and was told by the hostess 20 minutes. In that time 2, 5 groups sat(no reservations) as well as 1, 3 group sat again no reservation. I asked the hostess who was on staff tonight as to why we were by passed and how much longer it would be, she said she was waiting for 2 tables but in that time 2 of the 5 tops were given table seating, not booth. After waiting an additional 20 minutes we asked again, how long we had 3 children with us...we were told 45 minutes. The hostess was so disrespectful and the whole seating was a complete and utter joke! After leaving the hospital from seeing a loved one this was not how we seen our nights ending going. We, on behalf of my entire family will not be returning here. Its a constant of poor wait & front of the house staff, the food & margs can he as delicious as they want if you dont show respect to your customers youre going to end up without any.

Dishes dont Get washed right some times without soap and they over charge because they got old calculators that over charge,they some times dont wear hair nets, gloves and the proper utensils to run a business or a restaurant. The employees dont take there time to Do things like the health department is asking to because there over work and under payed employees some times they dont get brakes because there too busy and they dont have the proper educated management to run a healthy and well functional business.Employees get payed under minimum wage,12 hours a day and are lucky to get a 1/2 hour of that hour sometimes they dont even get that they only give you a day off sometimes not even that, they dont ever get a raise and no air condition in the back were all the workers are oh they dont get payed hourly they only get 350 a week and work 70 to 80 hours a week. The employees dont care if tubs of food gets put one the floor the don`t care if The fresh food gets served first or last or last i don`t temperatures being taken the walk in cooler is never clean the employees don`t wash there hands befor or after doing any thing and i can go on. Look for them thing is you should visit.

Poor service can spoil even the best food. My family has been there several times and as always the food is generally excellent. However both times they screwed up at least one of the orders (English as a 2nd language?). This most recent time (Sunday afternoon, not terribly busy) they also didnt bring us any drink refills. Then when when we ask for refills it was like we asked for something that we were supposed to have, and it took a long while for them to refill our drinks. My son asked for an additional basket of chips, but they never brought it. When they brought the bill they automatically added gratuity of 18% (party of 5). Because of the poor service I didnt feel 18% was appropriate. So I asked the manager to adjust the bill to remove gratuity. But he REFUSED!!! Then the manager proceeded to give me a hard time. So instead of a reduced gratuity I switched from my credit card and paid with cash. I only left enough to cover the food with virtually 0 gratuity. Hated to do it that way but service was terrible and the level of customer service from the manager was HORRIBLE. My family and I will not be going back... never again.

Reynolds location: If that is considered "traditional" mexican food, then I dont want it. Poor service. No one seemed to know what they were doing. Food was undercooked. Im talking, not cooked at all! My chille had hard chunks of cheese inside. Its supposed to be melted. Gross!! Tacos had no flavor!! The person in front of me had a takeout order-his order was screwed up. A girl at a table had to walk around and find a server to get drink orders placed. Meanwhile, the servers were just sitting around the corner, speaking to one another in Spanish, while they were super busy. I felt like I was in the twighlight zone. I try to sympathize with new business locations and wait staff. It is hard working with the public, but I wont be back.

Most disrespectful staff in the United States. Sat for 25 minutes with no drinks no chips no salsa no nothing. Then when we asked to speak to a manager the super hater manager said they would not serve us and they had the right to refuse service to us but we did nothing wrong. I would advise anyone to never set foot in the San Marcos near downtown Toledo. Racist, nasty attitude and down right rude. I will also be perusing legal action for discrimination. Im black and my girl is White and our lunch mate is Latino and I truly believe thats why we werent served. Nobody should ever eat here. The worst I have ever been treated in my life and Im 40.

This place is great. The service was fast and the wait was really short. I timed it at 10 minutes for my order with a full restaurant. I ordered a "beef taco, special" but made the mistake of not specifying exactly what I wanted. So, just dont t forget to say exactly what kind of tortilla (flour or corn) or "beef" that you want if you want that as your meat. There are three or four different types of beef on the menu but to be honest, the different types taste odd (not bad, just really strange IMO) so to be safe just ask for steak (carne asada). Otherwise, explore the menu. Its really delicious.

Truthfully one of the best Mexican restaurants Ive ever eaten at. You enter through a small Mexican shop and walk back towards the restaurant. When you enter, youre immediately encountered with beautiful Aztec murals on every wall and ceiling! The food is exceptionally authentic! This is because they import goods from Mexico for their shop and restaurant. I highly suggest their traditional tacos, they are amazing. Their alcoholic drinks (Margaritas) are delicious as well, my girlfriend loves them. The people are very friendly and attentive to your needs. Worth every penny!!

The food was good but the service sucked so bad it was almost not worth the food. I waited 45 minutes to get a drink. Then when I payed then went back to leave a tip and then I was accused of not paying the bill and followed out like I was a thief, and when I went to straighten out the bill the same girl that I just paid less than 5 minutes before acted deer like she didnt remember that I just payed her. But good thing I had my receipt and change. I will take my mexican business elsewhere, screw san marcos with a big fat chorizo in the bAck door. SS

My wife and I went there last night. I cant believe how good the food was. We lived in Mexico for almost two years, and the food here is both authentic and tasty. The regular tacos were really flavorful. The barbacoa was our favorite. The Carne Asada was a little too fatty, but the Al Pastor was good. The PaPas Tacos were good too, they were filled with cheesy potatoes. The chips & salsa cost $1.50, which surprised us a bit. The salsa was great, the chips were just chips. But overall, a great experience.
