While they did a decent job resizing my finances engagement ring I brought in (though they sized it slightly larger than they had test-sized it at), they did not call me to notify me it was complete, and when I called to inquire about the status, they informed me that someone else had tried to pick it up the ring, and the only reason it wasnt given to them was because it wasnt done yet. They had not called to alert me of this when it happened, and it left me very concerned for the safety of my ring. I told them not to release it to anyone without verifying photo ID. When I came to pick it up the next day, they simply handed it over after I told them my name, no ID check. When I brought up my concern, the manager simply laughed at me and said that someone else had had the last name Johnson and attempted to pick up their ring, and the staff member I spoke to on the phone had gotten confused. In his words "So theres really no problem" while standing about 3 inches from my face. I was not contacted to be told of the situation, was not contacted when my ring was completed, was not contacted when the situation was figured out, and was not offered any compensation for the security risk, disregarded requests, and alarm posed. It was the second time I had the ring resized there within a week (was charged over a hundred dollars both times), and it will be the last business I give them.

Went in a few weeks ago and picked out a ring that I loved. Went back in yesterday to purchase the ring and the lady I think Tonya was her name had no clue about the ring in the picture. She had me all over the place looking for it. She answered phones and complained about the person on the phone when she was in front of me. After about an hour she got another sales person to help and they had no answers to the ring in the picture. All they could say it its "pulled" whatever that means. I asked if I could order it and they told me they would just custom make it. I made it clear I needed a ring for the weekend, but were so quick to dismiss me after I said no to custom. So I went elsewhere where someone would help me find a ring for this weekend and spent double on a beautiful piece at another local jeweler! Never ever would I recommend this place. Staff is clueless and quick to dismiss even if you have cash in hand. Guess they are doing fine they dont need peoples money!

Edit: I have since purchased an engagement ring from Harold Jaffe and couldnt be more pleased with my experience. Laurie and Jeff Jaffe are wonderful, fair, and provide exceptional knowledge and service. Laurie was a pleasure to work with and she guided me through the process, never pressuring me to stretch my budget I gave her, and she absolutely nailed the design I asked for. 10/5 stars. ----- Great showroom, exceptional service and great owners. They dont let you make mistakes. Had a wonderful first impression and will definitely go back.
