The Collective is like no other tattoo shop that I have ever seen! At this shop, you feel like gone are the days of dark, dingy tattoos shops with unoriginal flash on the walls. The shop is well lit including tons of natural light which pours in from the front windows. It is painted in neutral tones which I found relaxing and it made me feel more at home. All of the walls are lined with original paintings from the tattoo artists themselves as well as other local artists. During a tour, I found that the actual booths are very clean with ample space, privacy, and beautiful wood flooring. The artists were all very friendly and open to my tattoo ideas and portfolios were conveniently located in the lobby. The artists really seem to work as a team, which I found to be nice. Definitely added to the friendly atmosphere. While I have yet to attend one of their art shows, I was told by a friend that it was very well done. The gallery (which I did see) is beautiful. The artwork is placed and displayed professionally including overhead spot lights (Im not sure of the technical term) over the pieces to illuminate them. I have been to many tattoos shops (I have over thirteen large tattoos done by six separate artists) and this shop definitely takes the cake.

Great artists and genuinely get people have multiple tattoos and this is my go to place. Ed is doing an awesome back piece on me and also did the script on my forearm 3 years ago that is so clear it looks like it was recently done. Bee did a memorial piece on my wrist for my mom after she past away not long ago... i encourage anyone looking to get body art to make the guys and girl at the collective tattoo their first choice you wont be disappointed..

Went in as a walk in, and luckily Bs appointment had just cancelled. Told her what my cousin and I wanted, she drew it herself so it is an original piece, and got us right in. Very personable and friendly. Clean shop with separate rooms. Ill definitely be going back!
