Me and my wife stopped in on a Saturday afternoon while back to school supply shopping to upgrade her iPhone 6 and switch to a Samsung phone. We were also going to transfer her old phone to a new line for our teenage daughter. We were greeted by a young salesman at the door that explained their system was down nationwide and he would help the best he could. I asked for a Samsung S7 which were still being offered through the Verizon website. I recommended this as her first android phone coming from Apple. She was familiar with the functions of my S7 edge. She desired the great camera, physical home button, bigger screen, headphone jack and expandable memory. The salesman immediately stated that they dont carry it in stock and continued to be persistent by up selling us to a Google Pixel phone. We told him that is not what we are looking for and that I would order an S7 through the Verizon website. He made a smart remark about how is he going to make a paycheck if we order online. He continued his persistent push to purchase a newer phone and showed us their floor model of the S7. He tried to convince us that the phone is outdated and kept offering different newer phones like the Google Pixel for unlimited storage, I explained that my wife wanted to listen to her music locally like her 64gig iPhone and not try storing everything in the cloud which meant having to move to an unlimited plan. He also forcefully suggested the LG G6, Samsung S8 and the Moto Z. Basically telling us every other phone sold in that store was better than the S7. I explained to him again that she wanted a physical home button. He got rude and asked my wife condescendingly if she was really going to choose a phone based on a home button. We were done and walking out the door due to the bad customer service. He was absolutely no help and tried pushing us into an unwanted purchase. He finally offer to order the phone we requested online as we were walking out the door. But the system was still down and what seems like a supervisor sitting behind him was too busy with his face in his phone. Neither one of them were any help and was only worried about pushing for a commission. Being long time customers, I have never had an experience like this at Verizon even when I had to get a replacement phone while on vacation.

These people are nothing more than CON ARTISTS Hiding in Verizon Camouflage... We got two new S6 phones at 27.09. Verizon Corporate charges 24.99 on top of that we were told there was a 35 dollar activation fee... turns out when you sign up with a corporate store there is no activation fee with the new Edge plan. Verizon also said we werent supposed to pay the tax on the phone, but they charged us that too. When you call them and ask about this they explain that its a programing and set up fee not an activation fee and that the tax is just what you do when you buy a phone. They have a 14 day return policy, however none of the information you get explains the ins and outs, but it does say their "Set up fee" is non refundable.. So sure you can turn in your phone but its going to cost you 35 dollars. I hate to think of all the other charges youre going to find out about when you try and turn in your phone.. Heres the best part we kept asking about insurance.. We were told twice that its automatic and we can call and cancel at anytime, but when you call Verizon they are telling us that there isnt any insurance on the phones at all. I read some of the other reviews and noticed there was an email to write too. So I did on Wednesday and 10:30am.. here it is Thursday at 2:54 pm and I have no response. I called the store when I was told there would be a team lead in and the lady that answered the phone gave every excuse in the world why I couldnt talk to that person. The moral to the story is buy your phones from a corporate store and stay away from these cons.

Husband bought a headset bluetooth today. The salesman told him that he could see our 25% accessory discount, so he thought he was getting the discount. He came home, realized that it wasnt given to him. Called on the phone, got a VERY RUDE person who answered the phone (Jeremiah). . I was put on hold for 30 minutes before someone picked up, then hung up on us. I called back, got the same guy who put us on hold the first time. I explained that I had been on hold waiting a half hour to speak to the manager and was told that he was busy because they had a lot of customers in the store. I explained that I am also a customer, at which time the guy said in a very rude manner, "did you hear what I just said?" Needless to say, I never got to talk to the manager. If this is how they treat customers, I will never go back to that store again. Besides, ordering from verizon direct online is cheaper anyway. Initially, if the salesman had told my husband that he wasnt getting the 25% discount, we wouldnt have questioned it or needed to call to talk to the manager in the first place. This unprofessional behavior is not acceptable.

This place is horrible. They will tell you you are signing one thing when you are signing another! We went in because of a damaged phone that we had insurance on. The insurance company no longer services Verizon so we were told we had to get insurance through Verizon. They quoted us an incorrect price. We told them we needed the phone replaced but DID NOT WANT TO EXTEND ANY CONTRACTS. They said we were not and gave us a new phone. They told us to sign for the exchange of the phone. When we got our monthly bill we saw that they had enrolled us into the edge plan for 24 Monthly payments! There is no way to pay it off early. When we called back they told us we were outside of the 14 day no worries policy. Of course we were we didnt know what they did until we got our monthly statement. They offered to discount the phone, but that does the change the new 2 year agreement. And because they lied about what we signed (you sign a signature panel, not shown the paper or screen) they say we signed for a 2 year agreement.
