My wife and I have been to the grocery store a couple of times, but never had eaten at the restaurant. Yesterday we met some gentlemen who had ordered some carryout food from here and it looked delicious. I asked where they got the food and they told me Las Penas Mexican Grocery & Restaurant. Today we tried the restaurant and the food was AMAZING!!! There are other mainstream Mexican restaurants in the area but the food does not compare to Las Penas! If you want great authentic Mexican food in a relaxed atmosphere add this place to your list. I promise you that you will not regret your decision. I had the Carne Asada burrito with Avacado. My wife had tacos, refried beans and rice. We will definitely be back again!!!

Good cozy atmosphere. The food is real authentic Mexican food, service is very quick and the folks that work here have a great friendly attitude. This was my first time coming here, and Im definitely coming back
