Great place to shop for food and more. I also love the Kroger App. They even give kids free fruits, and occasionally snacks like crackers, cheese and cookies to try. But leave the kids at home theres too much to distract them here, youll notice a steep increase in your grocery budget if you dont heed this warning. Kids pleas are tough on the will power of tired moms (Lol). Theres A lot more at this Kroger, than Groceries too. Even some surprisingly cute outfits especially for young people and kids. However , the clerks in HomeGoods, Clothing, and Pharmacy can really use some more product and merchandising training. They never seem sure of what they have for sale (4/10 times I have asked so far). They also struggle with, or are not well trained to be able to suggest alternatives to unavailable sales items most of the time. However, this Kroger stores employees are ALMOST always kind and super courteous, whenever we go there they get 10/10 for courtesy and patience. But only 6/10 with "on the floor availability" especially in Clothing, Pharmacy, and HomeGoods areas. But They are usually great, when you can get one to help you , and exceptional at the P.O.S. The visuals presentation in some departments, especially the Clothing department appears crowded with too much and "unkempt"at best. It Is hard to even find whats sale specials there. The Associates really needs more training/help knowing how to keep clothing smooth (maybe by using a roll away clothing steamer for really bad cases). As well as at keeping clothing clean, by NOT over stuffing clothing racks so that, things are always falling all over floors. AND REALLY There should be an attendant in these departments at all times especially on weekends; at least until 10PM everyday (for better customer service). Krogers is diversifying the services they offer, and I am totally OK with that, love some of it even. However I cant say the same for some others not so much (see above). HOWEVER, they can be improved, and little by little I have noticed some. Example an Associate gave me a coupon and was extremely helpful as I shopped for a summer dress. And she wasnt to hard to find. But I have not had the same luck on a week day or even a Friday night. Kroger either needs to make more improvements in these expanded departments, or bring back the old furniture you used to offer sale before two years ago. Your great employees seems "spread way too thin" here Seriously, with this new store reformat. Over all however, I will still give this location a rating 3.5/-4 out of 5 Stars for its great everyday food selections as well as a "Fair to good" selection of Organic Foods and Healthier food options in Produce and Grocery. But this store can still be better in the Ethnic Foods department. The Ethnic food isle /selections are very limited to a few Mexican/ some Latin goods. I would personal really like to see more foods from around the world, like from The West Indies, Africa, The Middle East too, and more. But I guess they are doing what they can, they do have an OK Italian /EU food selection.

The market place and the store in general is definitely 5 stars. The bakery.....not so much. My wife went up to the bakery at 8pm tonight (8/21/2017) to see if she can pick up a plan white cake tomorrow around 430pm, with the Trolls sugar decal (over 20 hours notice). The lady working, cut her off, totally denying service because it was less than 24 hours and was rude. Then she asked if she could just buy the sugar decal and we would put it on ourselves. Of course the rude so called "baker" cut her off and said, no. Then pretty much stopped helping her. She was so rude that my wife came home balling her eyes out saying that she is the worst mom and she cant even get our little birthday girl a Trolls cake. I called at 845pm and was on hold and transfer from the deli to the front desk for 15 mins. By the time I talked to the Manager it was after 9 and of course the bakery closes at 9. The Manager wasnt much help, AT ALL!! She kept making excuse after excuse, like the bakery has never been rude and she must have been taking out the trash and she "apologizes for MY wife feeling that she was not being help and that the lady was rude to her". It takes a heck of a lot for her to break down like i saw tonight. So I should call back the bakery tomorrow at 9am and explain the sitiation and the decorator, which probably has a heavy work load tomorrow, might be able to squeeze it in before 4pm. REALLY?!! Now it will only be 7 hours notice to slap a pancake size sugar decal on a small cake. If she is able to do it with 7 hours notice, when we were trying to give 20 hours notice, then the lady that was rude to my wife needs more training on customer service or move to a department where she doesnt interact with customers and the whole "24 hour" rule needs to be thrown out. I can not believe people anymore. Not sure when people stopped caring about their work ethic or about the customers and does bare minimum happened but those need a reality check. I grew up being taught that if you dont give a minimum 100% or dont have any pride in your work, you should just sit at home and let someone, that is grateful and has pride in their work, have your job. Customer Service has gone out the window now a days and thats what my wife recieved tonight. She does not need that very subpar customer service!! She works very hard at 2 jobs (14 to 16 hours a day, 3 to 5 days a week) and was looking forward to giving our little girl the thing she wanted most this year. Not sure what is going on anymore, but what happened tonight is an example of people just not caring anymore and only caring about themselves. Try caring about someone else sometime and not just yourself, youll be surprised how good it feels to go above and beyond for someone you may only meet once in your life. Sorry, Im off the soap box now. I have little faith in this locations bakery, so I will be calling other bakeries tomorrow morning before this one opens at 9. Thanks for reading and God bless.

Im conflicted. I want to give less stars but feel that is unfair. If you asked me a year or two ago, I would give five stars. I would give more than five stars, if that were possible. This Kroger has everything. The marketplace changed a few years ago so they no longer have furniture and as many Home Goods, as they moved more to the clothing lines. Here are some of of the highlights of this Kroger: - They have curbside pickup, if you would use that. - They have a honey baked ham counter. Floral department. - Great produce selection. - Starbucks is located inside. - Pharmacy with a drive-thru window. This is still by far one of the best Krogers around. But what makes it bad now as opposed to a few years ago? The traffic. Ever since the abomination that is Liberty Centre opened up, the traffic in our area has gone insane. And with that, for some reason, the traffic inside of this Kroger has also gone insane. You can no longer find really anytime to go there when it is not ridiculously crowded. To the point now, where I only go here if I absolutely have to. Ive started going a bit further to the Kroger on 63. Its unfortunate, because this is so close and we do love this Kroger. Its just too crowded and too hectic anymore. One additional note as of the last year or so. The curbside pickup. Naturally people who use the curbside pickup use it because they are too busy, always on the go, just plain lazy or they like the fact that they can utilize another app or online service for no reason other than being trendy and to talk about it. But heres the real downside for those of us who still have no problem walking and grocery shopping for ourselves. These mammoth carts throughout the store that are being filled for the curbside pickup shoppers are everywhere. So between the combination of a very crowded grocery store nearly at every given time, constant maneuvering around oversized carts for picking and pulling items for the curbside pickup and skids of items for restocking shelves, these aisles have been getting way too narrow. As negative as this review sounds, its really not completely at the fault of Kroger. Thats why I feel it would be unfair to give this location any less than a rating of 4 stars.
