This review is from Pat & Joe Teller, in Pats voice: Thanks to my husband, Joe, who has been a finish/trim carpenter for over 30 years, we discovered the Caretta Workspace furnishings that are now the focal point of my office. Joe certainly is a person who knows quality craftsmanship and materials. On the other hand, I am a professor of computer science and am well aware of the challenges of designing office space that provides both form and function, especially in terms of a technologically rich office. Caretta Workspace achieves this blend of form and function with their thoughtful integration of wood and metal with other elements and their fine craftsmanship. The finished products are well executed and extremely appealing. And, the level of detail is very impressive, from the exquisite joinery and finishing of the wood to the high-end hinges, attractive knobs on the doors and drawers, and lining in the drawers. Although small (13’ 8" X 7’ 6"), my office contains an Artistic Computer Desk 2 and a Contemporary Hutch that sits on a Side Table, both of which have high-end designs, two Lateral File Cabinets with Caps (complementary wood tops), two chairs, as well as a computer, printer/scanner/fax machine, backup storage, a back-up power unit (UPS), and a shredder, in addition to my laptop, a tablet, books, etc. Nonetheless, the office has a “clean” look (no wires and cables all over the place) and is not crowded -- the floor is free of clutter thanks to the shelves that are mounted on the desk (2 Artistic Computer Shelves and 1 Artistic Printer Shelf) and side table. We looked for over five years for the “right" office furniture, i.e., furniture with form and function, and are we happy that we waited until we found Caretta Workspace! It is such a pleasure to work in my office. Sometimes my husband just sits in the room and enjoys it ;-) PS Take a look at their unique coat racks too — we bought a couple and so did our friends.

Several weeks ago I started researching a home office desk solution. I outlined my priorities, which included a nice sized surface that would allow me leverage as much of the space as possible. My research brought me to the Caretta Artistic Computer Desk 2, with two printer shelves and the Dual EVO Monitor Arm. The Pros: - Boxes for the desk arrived well packed, protecting against mars and scratches. - Very nice step by step instructions for desk assembly. - Tools needed for the assembly were included. - Assembly was straightforward. - The shelves are great as they keep the desk clear of equipment clutter. - Cable management is awesome and allows me to face into the office without having to look at ugly cables. - I really like how the dual monitor arm attaches to the desk. My monitors are secure without compromising the look and feel of the desk. - Drawers have nice lining and open and close smoothly. - Nice instructions on wood and desk inlay care and maintenance. - Phone and email support for pre-purchase questions and follow up support were excellent. - My desk number is fitting for my profession. The binary code equivalent for 11011 is the escape key. The Cons: - Issue 1: I placed one of the shelves in the highest spot on the left hand side. The lower left screw would not go in. Resolved by swapping screws. - Issue 2: The monitor arm adjustments were difficult to understand. Resolved by finding an internet video on arm calibration. I bought this desk through the website. So my first opportunity to view the look and feel the desk was when I opened the boxes. Now that I have assembled my desk, I really am blown away by the quality of the wood, metal, and inlay. This really is a fine piece of furniture that I am looking forward to using in my home office every working day.

I found Caretta Workspace on the recommendation of a friend who absolutely loves his standing desk. After doing quite a bit of research on the subject and other options available, I decided to drive up to Carettas showroom & offices for a look at their range. I bought mine desk on the spot, because it was clear that the craftsmanship at work in their shop was second to none. The assembly process was flawless. Caretta included quite literally every tool I needed to assemble the desk in my office, from a basic screwdriver to a very, very nice allen wrench - talk about going above and beyond to make the process as customer-friendly as possible! In the weeks since I got my desk set up, including a dual-monitor arm that really freed up the entire work surface, Ive been more productive than ever, and I feel great! I tend to stand barefoot on one of those gel-filled floor mats, so my ankles and knees are in the best shape theyve been in ages, my posture has improved considerably, and Im burning considerably more calories than I was slouched in front of my traditional desk all day. The desk itself is beautiful, and has earned more than a few admiring comments from visitors. In short, this desk is the total package, and I couldnt be happier. Quality product from quality people. I would buy from Caretta again without hesitation.

Im a musician. I was looking for a desk for my music room that would be functional, yet beautiful. In the past, I had used music workstations that were great for holding rack mount gear, but were ugly industrial-looking monsters. A search on Google turned up Caretta, and it was love at first sight. I ordered the Artistic Computer Desk 2. This was one of the rare instances where the product looked just like the website photos. I can honestly say that this is the most beautiful piece of furniture I own. The wood is perfection, and the attention to detail was incredible. When I called Caretta with some questions, I spoke to Jean (Director of Sales) and Andy (Tech Support); both of these folks were great listeners, very kind and very helpful. Probably the best customer service I have ever experienced with any company. I highly recommend Carettas products; you wont be disappointed!

While scouring the internet for furniture that would look fit in our luxury hotel for our business center, I stumbled upon Caretta Workspace. The furniture itself compared to what was available on market place was definite a cut above the rest. We ended up choosing the two person standing desk, but found the color to be too bright and called up to see what could be done. Their amazing customer service provided by Jean helped us by going a step beyond by actually providing a service to stain it to a darker color that would fit perfectly in our BC. We had an aggressive time schedule and she said it would arrive on the 20th and good to her word ...did arrive on time. Setup was a breeze and the final product left our GM saying it was an amazing piece of furniture. Top notch company.

I love my desk!!! I looked at hundreds on-line. My heart caught when I saw this, and I kept coming back to it over the weeks. I live in a small NYC apartment, and Im an author...so a desk is everything to me. I need to enter a zone when I see it. It has to seduce me, saying, "Im gorgeous...you know you want to touch me...come here....sit your ass down and write Chapter 4." This desk does that. It gives me pleasure. And, the customer service is excellent--really--talk to Jean and figure out what you want. Also, I cant say enough about the quality and packing and the instructions, complete with the tools, in case you dont have them. Bravo Carretta!
