I heard it has been sold to someone else. I hope they bring in new competition with low prices and great workmanship. Stores like Old Navy, TjMax, Justice, Claires, Great Clips, a larger game room with more variety, a fun or romantic restaurant. The whole idea is to get medium to low prices, stores that do well in other malls, Restaurant that is like Dave & Busters, Quaker Oil. Have special weeks or week- ends with shows or talents, action like comedy and so on. If the fast food restaurants cant keep it clean or speak English, dont even start them in the mall. Information Center should be located in the center of the Mall. The mall is looking like a ghost town. Lancaster is Not a big money making City. The prices need to stay down. Offer events or specials, I dont mean the stores, I mean the Mall. Do things that make people curious to get people in, then to buying. Make it a Happy Place. I suggest a Coffee Shopp separate from the eateries or from the restaurant, Mimes or Jugglers, clowns walking around, a small bowling alley where the old movie theater was. I wish you all the best. I really do hope whether 1 person or a group purchased the Mall, I hope you can see that this Mall needs a big turn around, of course I know you intelligent people know it takes lots of money to do such things. I would consider a booth that check people that come in with guns or knives, this would help comfort many of the shoppers and employees. Good Luck, Donna S.

Mediocre mall.. Nice place to shop if youre looking for something to do in the area. Not very big & doesnt have a whole lot to offer. Includes a few bigger stores like Dicks Sporting Goods, JC Penney, Old Navy, Bath & Body Works, American Eagle, Ulta, Buckle, Victorias Secret, Auntie Annes, multiple different shoe stores & a newly renovated movie theatre (Cinemark). Id hate to see them go under, but if they dont get a few more popular stores & better restaurants in the food court, theyll definitely be going out soon. If it werent for the restaurants & other stores they have in the surrounding area, I probably wouldnt come here often.

While many malls are progressively failing, this one seems to be holding its own. It once hit a slumber when it lost quite a few shops and down-graded the cafeteria. Now it seems to be back on-top, almost completely full with its shops, decent selection of shops in aswell, and even a theater. Overall its a good mall and theres not alot to complain about, its about the right size for the area population.

Ive been coming here since at least June 26th, 1993! My parents parked their 72 Stingray Corvette in front of the old finish line in the mall during the Corvette Clubs annual car show. I loved coming down to Lancaster from Columbus for it every year. Now that I live down here I like taking my kiddos to the mall still. It reminds me of my young childhood.

I like the mall lots of stores but one time i went and there were after school teenagers that got in front of the train that goes around and the driver was moving the train turns and yells at the teenager and hit my kid that i had in the stroller in front of me. I got trapped with my kid and husband bc we were sitting on one of the seats they have

I have to say that the River Valley Mall seems to me to be in a sorry downward trend, And has been for the last 10yrs. They need to be competitive and do whatever they can to bring in some vibrant new companies. The food Court is HORRIBLE ! There is NO restaurants there anymore ! How can you call this good business sense ?

Stopped by Bath and Body works to grab candles! The staff there was super friendly and very helpful!! I came across a really cool store inside the mall that offers some really cute, unique handmade items like youd see at a boutique. Also had some Ohio branded stuff! Nice to see a store that supports local talent!!

I went to the Cinemark and the staff was very friendly and helpful, it was very clean, I downloaded an app to were I could earn rewards and Monday is senior day so its only 5 bucks and Tuesday is discount day for everyone so its only 5 bucks also, so all in all pretty awesome

Im from a big city and Im used to multi-story, Goliath malls... This is not that lol. But its nice! It has good stores, kiosks and a half way decent food court with traditional food court food. Its clean and easy to navigate. Never hard to find good parking either.

Decent sized mall for the area. Single floor, not a whole lot of variety as far as stores go. Fairly new Cinemark movie theater (10 screens). Nice food court. Where this mall really suffers is anchor stores. It needs better stores. Especially after losing Sears.

The roads owned by the Mall are in horrid shape, with potholes everywhere! Please fix your roads, people are damaging their cars in your potholes, and accidents nearly happen because people are swerving to avoid the potholes. Show some pride in your property!

Like whats left in the mall but they need to open up more stores again instead of taking them all out and filling in the spaces with more walls.. but overall fye gamestop supergame team Spencers hot topic journeys are all good stores food is good also anytime

Typical mall experience for a smaller city. There are several big name retailers along with smaller independent shops. There are some vacant storefronts and only a few selections in the food court. The mall includes a small playplace for kids.

I love this mall compared to the ones in cbus because its never crowded and theres an arcade. Food court is a little limited and aged but everything actually tastes really great. Great Chineese food made by Mexican dudes lol

They need better stores (goodies, elderbearman, footlocker, name brand clothes at a better price, dens) definitely need more food options.....however as long as their rent is sky high no one will be able to stay in business

Anchor stores are definitely lacking in size and selection. There is a decent number of small boutiques. It seems clean and is well kept. If you want a good selection at anchor stores, youre better off going to Columbus.

After the River Valley Malls fairly recent renovations its a pretty decent place to shop. Not a lot to offer for teens. There are quite a variety of shops other than that, not to mention a pretty decent movie theater.

Took my boys as a rainy day option. There is a train to ride and a small indoor playground. There was a lot of kids who were too big on the playground. The train takes you through the whole mall. It is $3 a person.

More recently, there seems to be a revolving door of shops, and there isnt really much in the way of activities, aside from a small game room. Aunt Annies and Charleys are probably the best things about this mall.
