I went in to buy a gun. They ran my background, and my background got delayed. Which I had no problem with. I got a call a few days later that my background cleared and I could go pick up my gun. So I went in at around 0715 the following day, walked up to the gun counter, explained that I was there to pick my gun up, and the male that was working the counter said he wouldnt be ready to sell guns or anything for at least an hour. I woke up early specifically to go pick up my gun, seeing as I work 12 hour days, and when I get off at night, they are closed. So please explain to me how a store is open, but the incompetent employee wasnt able to open his station in time. If your store opens at 7, that means everything in the store should be open at 7. Im very unsatisfied and you have lost a customer. Ill take my business to a more prepared and better working store.

Have been a long time customer, and have learned to accept the slow customer service. However today I took exception to this. I purchased a riding mower from here last summer. Since then the mower has started having engine issues. After changing the oil, spark plug and all filters, it still continues to stall. So i called to see if my warranty was still valid, so I could have it worked on. The girl answered the phone, took my name and set the phone down. I could hear her talking to someone (muffled), after a few minutes she came back on and stated "I cant find your receipt, but you can bring it in and the guy in back can work on it. But since I cant find your receipt, youll be charged for the service". I question if she even looked for my name in the system, she didnt even offer to search by phone number, just "I cant find it". Disappointed!!

Great store with tons of products, many of which I wasnt even aware they carried, all at reasonable prices that are just as low as Wal-Mart, some lower! The store is usually understaffed, making assistance hard to find at times, and checkout lines at the front of the store a longer wait than they could be if they would just open another lane or two! Never witnessed more than 2 lines open at any one time. If the gun barn isnt too busy, I like to pay for my items back there and skip the longer lines up front. My dog loves to go get her free pig ear just for stopping in, so we are usually back in that area at some point during our visit anyway, so it works out.

Seems that the gun counter is the problem in this store. I was in to purchase ammo and it was so inefficient and crowded. There were multiple employees working but no one seemed to be accomplishing anything and the lines grew. After one male employee made a sexist remark that all these women needed to get away so the men could buy their guns. Im male, but had I had my woman with me and shed have been shooed from the gun counter like a fly, it wouldnt have been pretty. I left the box of ammo I was waiting to buy laying on the counter and walked off and will not be back.

Terrible. We have had numerous problems from staff telling us they had something in, then driving 40 minutes to find out they were mistaken. To being told an item was one price and then going to the store (40 minutes) and having the bait and switch pulled and having to spend almost twice that to now, having our entire flock of baby chicks we purchased come up with Salmonella. For those that do not know it is transmitted from mother to baby in the egg.

DO NOT GO HERE TO PURCHASE A GUN. When we request a specific one to buy, not just look but buy, the guy working the counter told us they had it in the back but he would not go back to get it because he was "too busy" and suggested we come back another day, and very rudely. They need to get more employees of the ones they have cannot meet the customers needs. They lost out on a gun sell and a family of customers. Will not be returning.

Horrible service. Everybody was busy at a morning meeting with manager 20 feet from 5 people waiting for service at the service desk. The rake I wanted to buy was in a bin that said $9.99 and after someone finally came to check me out it rang up $13.99. Disgusted. I took rake back and yes...the bin was marked $9.99. I put rake back and by this time Tractor Supply next door had opened and I made my purchases there.

I walked into the store greeted by having no cart available. I needed help finding a certain product and no one was around to ask for assistance. I found what I needed and the product had no price on it. As I roamed the store I saw a mouse run across the floor. When I checked out the cashier was very rude, I asked to speak to a manager about my experience and he was apparently too busy.

Not a good place to purchase a firearm unless you have firearm knowlege yourself. The gun counter clerks are clueless morons they couldnt tell the muzzle from the breach or where the bullets go to save their lives, Their incompetence is staggering be prepared to shake your head, eat your popcorn and watch the show...

Very friendly and helpful associates, and the store is always well stocked. I have about a 35 minute drive to get there but I will keep shopping at Rural King.
