I went to the Union Kentucky Kroger on 6/16/16 around 7:30-8:00 pm intending to purchase several items from the store for an Employee Appreciation Luncheon we were having at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center on 6/17. I shopped for a good half hour picking out certain items & when I went to the checkout lane, the cashier stated she needed to get someone to help her with my tax exempt form. I waited and the blonde lady from the service desk came over and had no idea how to handle the situation. I understood that this may be new to them so I followed them over to the service desk. She called her manager (whom I wish I had gotten his name—however, he was a young 21-22 year old male, around 58, 150-160 lbs. brown hair & dark eyes) where he looked over my form and stated he could not take it. He treated me as if I was some sort of criminal trying to steal merchandise and I felt that this should have been handled SO much better by the manager. I understand they may not have these very often, but I was simply trying to get the tax taken off since this was for a NONPROFIT organizational event, nothing more. I have been a manager myself of a retail organization and would have never thought I would be treated with upmost disrespect as the Union Kroger showed me. Honestly, I thought about boycotting Kroger all together for this and all future events. Furthermore, I thought about telling Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center to do the same. However, I was very impressed with how the Fort Mitchell Kroger respected me and treated me the way a customer should be handled. I was not trying to “rip anyone off,” I was simply trying to use the organizations tax exempt form. I would be happy to discuss this over the phone. I spoke with a call center employee around 11 pm to explain what happened and that I would put it in writing as well. I hope that something is explained to the young man that I was simply not in the wrong.

Kroger is my favorite grocery store and like this one too. But, there are a few major headaches at this particular location. The staff is great from the managers, pharmacy staff, and down to the cashiers & baggers. So, these issues are no fault of staff. The problem is infrastructure. The store has been outgrown by the surrounding influx of population growth. The stores too small, its way to crowded, the parking is horrible (have actually witnessed once the whole parking lot filled to capacity), check out lines are long from morning till night, pharmacy; deli; & especially there gas station lines are worse. The store needs replaced or new building on another development (next door) is the ONLY fix.

Generally cant complain (or expect) too much. Last visit, all bottles of heavy cream were spoiled. First sign was that the sides of the bottles were sunk in but I went against my better judgement because this was the main thing I went there for. Got it home and more than half of the bottle was solidified and of course it had a sour smell. It was not beyond the expiration date. These bottles must have sat on a hot truck for quite some time before making their way for the shelves for you to buy.

I love Kroger, but this location is frustrating. It seems Im always having to go back to have something fixed or refunded. Items get rung up twice or coupons dont get scanned or all the boxes of special k have been slashed with a box cutter... Its never easy. I know people make mistakes, but I feel like Im always running back to this location and its so tone consuming. I dont want to have to go over to the side with my baby and cart to check over the receipt...

Overall the store is clean, well stocked and provides what we need, but every encounter with the bakery we have had has been met with nothing but rude and bitter women who act like customers are a burden. If this was a one time thing I would not care but every time I come here with my family we observe this. Every other employee is very friendly and helpful but the few ladies in the bakery could learn a thing or two about customer service.

Been shopping at this Kroger for for 14 years and has been a good experience, until this year. Now there a lot of product shortages, mostly with strawberries and blueberries. I have a list of 10 items that they no longer carry. Going to find another store. Too much frustration and tired of asking for stuff to get ordered.

The krogers is great ! Its the upscale customers who are rude , pushy , and very impatient. They will run you over ,block the main lanes and stop in the middle of the aisle to talk on their phone . Hopefully with the new krogers opening soon there will be room for the wealthy and the rest of us .

Only knock on the store is a smaller selection, but its a smaller store so thats just how it is until the Super-Kroger opens next door. You can get just about everything you need, though. Employees are friendly and helpful. Having the gas station there is convenient as well. Prices are reasonable.

Wasnt pleased today. Had a whole beef loin sliced and ended up not getting it because they apparently tried to keep part of it. We wont be coming back to that store. We will go to another Kroger!

The Kroger with this phone number is not on Big Bone Church Rd. It is on Highway 42 across from Walgreens and PNC Bank. I used to work there. Never went to Big Bone Church Rd to get there.

Not that bad but crowded. They need to finish the new store. Has anyone else noticed the floor in the produce section is slanted and not even? Staff is courteous and efficient.

I always enjoy my shopping experience. The store is nicely lit and they are quick to get rid of old stock and keep just the freshest choices for sale.

Great Kroger, but the parking is typically congested and pedestrians walking from store to parking and vice versa, is the most unsafe Ive ever seen.
