My wife and I are poor city dwellers (literally AND figuratively), so our income doesnt really afford us the chance to shop at "upscale" markets all that often. We just happened to be in the area on our way to do something else, and stopped by this place on the way home. Its fantastic! Its small, but packed to the gills with some good stuff. Of course, quite a bit of it is way more expensive than what youll find in supermarkets, but a lot of it is also sourced and made right here in Ohio. I was shocked to see a great liquor selection (complete with the rare Creme de Violette), along with tons of beers and wines. Even a little movie rental place! They have pizzas made in-house for just $10 ($7.99 on Wednesdays) and they are fantastic...light crust and tasty, fresh toppings. In doing extra research, I was amazed to find that they also do a ton of weekly events that are affordable for any budget, like brat and beer nights, where their own brats are $3 each, or burger nights, where their own beef burgers are $6. The veranda, where many of these events take place, looks cozy and inviting. And best of all, it doesnt feel pretentious or snobby. Its out of the way for us, but well make the trip every once in a while. A great community spot to just hang out and enjoy some great food!

Been here in the past with no problems. Todays visit was not pleasant. I stopped in to find some lunch and headed back to the prepared foods and deli. When a staff member finally wandered into the area I asked about some items and if I could see an ingredients list. He got an attitude like I was trying to steal some secret recipes. He added that they dont keep ingredients lists for the prepared foods (his words verbatim, not mine). I dont believe thats true. So I explained I am allergic to soy and was just checking for allergens and didnt really even need a full ingredients list. Just needed to rule out soy as an ingredient since I can handle trace amounts that might be on shared equipment. He ended the conversation by stating he didnt think there was a lot of soy in their foods. Irrelevant to a person who needs to know for sure. I ended the conversation by walking away a little frustrated. I like this store and I do plan to return when I am doing work in the area, but this was not a good experience. Thanks for reading.

I have been this place but long before it was The Hills Market it was a other name! I always thought the place was a spinn off of Whole Foods but smaller! The place is a tat HIGH in price. But overall, It a delight to have a market across of Worthington Hills! Pitty shame they sure did not make one in the Brookside location! At the time, We used to have a TINY Doran Market on 161 West Grandvile Rd across used to be the Volvo Dealership! Those was the great of times of the 1980s thought 2003! Cam back in summer of 2005 major changes and later 2007 when my dad pass and my mom sold the house moved to FL and I was living in Mill Valley Marin CA (North of SF CA) and later moved to FL with my mom! I wish The Hills Market do well over the years!

Absolutely LOVE this store. The best selection of Hard Liquor around period. They have interesting and niche products and really quality meet and seafood. Yes, they are a little pricey, but I think you get great value for your money from the friendly, knowledgeable staff and awesome selection. Events held regularly on their patio with food trucks and drink specials. A MUST go!

The Hills is your one stop local grocery store for all your needs from the local favorite Jenis Ice Cream and Jamble Granola to a great deli counter and beer selection. The staff is very eager to help you find anything in the store and look for their great events through the week. Support your local businesses and visit the Hills.

Its a small local grocery store with good lunch options. It is pricy depending on what you get. They have good $5 footlong subs that you can get with a nice outside dining area. They have a "loyalty program" where when you buy 5 subs you get your sixth one free.

A hidden treasure. Small and pricey, but on par with, if not better than: Whole Foods, The Andersons, and Fresh Thyme in terms of quality. UPDATE: With Andersons going the way of the Dodo; The HIlls has probably the best alcohol selection in the area.

I wanted to send several holiday baskets. Fran Fox at Hills managed everything perfectly and had them delivered on short notice before Christmas. They were beautiful, fresh and greatly appreciated by our friends. Thanks.

The Hills Market is a gem in Columbus. While their selection of quality items is very impressive (amazing alcohol section!), they go over the top by hosting some fantastic events.

Always the best meats and produce. It is not cheap, but if you dont have to trim your veggies, that evens out the price. We also love the fresh seafood counter !

Favorite little market in Columbus. Mini Whole Foods but a quaintness that keeps me coming back. Can get to from the Olentangy Bike Path.

Not the biggest selection, but they have things that may be harder to find. I tend to run in for a few things I need on my way home.

Excellent wine selection. Store is a bit dark, though, and could be cleaner.

Extremely pricey. $4.99 for two double A batteries is ridiculous.
