Came in today to pickup my single speed bike that was originally to be tuned up along with some pedal replacement work. After work began I was given a call and was tolled that my pedals were fine and my left crank was bent and it need to be replaced and it would be cheaper than the original quote which was great. I was online checking online for the price of the replacement part and it seemed reasonable. Fast forward too today and I went to pick up my bike and only one crank was replaced and not sold in a set could have went online and purchased an entire crank set for the price of one. Next my front tire is " cut" but the tube is fine and that it would be an extra fee to fix that when I came in both tires were fine and full of air and less than a year old along with tubes. I am resident who lives less that 5 minutes from this shop and will be traveling to mayfield heights to a box store were I expect to be over charged

The bike shop is more expensive than others but I like to support my local independent businesses. Unfortunately, I should have read the reviews first - it seems unanimous this is a lousy shop - terrible service and high prices. In summary, a bike purchased as a gift was the wrong size. When I returned it the next day to exchange for a larger size, the owner wanted me to pay an additional 10% return fee - a fee that was never mentioned when he sold the bike. So essentially he was just trying to screw me for $30. Instead I went and bought the bike elsewhere for less and told my credit card company to deny the charge. In short, a rude owner that is not the brightest bulb in the bike business. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

I am stumped by the several negative reviews. Ive been to Lee Rd and to B and K, and they are good places, as well, but the work Ive had done at Cycle Sport and Fitness - and this covers many years including just recently - has been professional, prompt, and friendly. Several times, theyve done a quick fix for me on the spot for no charge. They arent especially cheap, but they dont gouge you, either. I would say that B and K, a much larger store in terms of retail floor space, probably has a larger selection of new bikes, but for service and advice, Cycle Sport and Fitness is up there with the best.

Saw a review from some time ago describing an older fellow who was rude and insulting. Quick update, he still works there. After ridiculing my bike and my biking habits of which he knows NOTHING about, I asked him if he could tell me the brand of the equipment he would be using to replace some parts, his response "no". Customer Service MINUS 10. Quoted me an incredibly high estimate, Value: MINUS 10. I took my bike and left. I wouldnt spend a dime in there if it was the last bike shop on EARTH. Total jerk.

Called for a replacement chain, they quoted me inflated $50 bucks. Wowwww. Labor included. Still crazy for a local bike shop. Preying on the community. Hung up immediately and called Cain Bike shop on Lee. Same info different result. Quoted 10-15 for chain, 5 bucks for labor. Great, community bike shop. I predicted the closing of B&K bikes, because of the same practices. I actually need two chains and would have been stuck up for $100 bucks. Unless you have cash to burn stay away from Cycle Sport.

The absolute RUDEST store employee I have ever dealt with! I was trying to ask if they had some parts that fit my bike model over the phone claimed he had never heard of any of the specifications I was reading him directly off of my Schwinn bike. Refused to answer any of my other general questions over the phone gave me lots of attitude and hung up. There is a lot of other bike stores in the immediate area if you want to avoid an unpleasant experience Id recommend trying someplace else.

I've been to this bike ship multiple times and have yet too be satisfied. Most often you will run into one of two grumpy old men who work (potentially own?) there. Neither of them seem particularly well informed on bike maintenance and have consistently told me it was not worth fixing my bike. Apparently a tune up will run you roughly 80 dollars. They always insult my bike and never actually want to repair it. They are extremely poor business men and have very sour attitudes...

I live close by but the service was so bad I will never return. They were unable to help attach the bike hitch but said it was good because they had sold some. I was also interested in buying a baby trailer but they didnt know much about those either. Lastly, they would not hold one of our bikes after we had it tuned for 15 minutes so my husband could pick it up. Very poor buisness decision.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! This is coming from the seasoned road rider who stopped in asking to borrow a floor pump to fill a low tire. The gentleman REFUSED to let me use the tire pump. Any shop I have ever been to would have graciously lent a floor pump to a fellow rider for two minutes. EDDYS BIKE SHOPS provide far better service. NEVER coming back, and will tell others not to as well.

I originally rated Poor-Fair and wrote a review describing the details of my experience at Cycle Sport and Fitness. Since then I talked with the owner and he apologized. I think its fair to remove the details but I still will not be returning. I re-rated this shop as Good because of the apology that I received. I would still suggest going to B&K.

Never bought in this store but visited last year Trying to get a flat tire fixed. Since I live around this area, I was happy to give my business to a local place. The guy was very rude! And wanted a fortune to fix a flat and trying to sell us a new bike...really? We ren away to never come back... Tried the one on Lee rd. and was happy ever since.

John and the staff at Cycle Sport are the best! Patient, helpful, great at diagnosing problems and making effective repairs, quick and friendly service for very reasonable cost. Skilled at meeting the needs of young/new cyclists as well as seasoned bike veterans. Easy access and parking. Highly recommend this local business.

Our family has purchased a few bikes from this store and we have always had a good experience. We have also taken our older bikes there for repairs, and the repairs have always been fast and reasonable. Good local bike shop. I would definitely shop there again.
