after dealing with petersons for over 5 years, they have dropped there customer care completely! i have purchased numerous weapons, and had transferred to them many times from online gun brokers. i had a new fire arm from buds on line sent to them. when they received it, stuart baker the manager ; REFUSED to transfer it to me. when i called him, he said the firearm is NOT LEGAL in florida? i contacted buds online gun store, and they said it WAS LEGAL by florida law! buds representative, told me that they have shipped OVER 70 to different locations in florida!! i spoke to stuart on the phone and he would NOT accomodate me. i asked him to send the weapon back to buds, but he DID NOT do this. i waited 1.5 monthes to get this firearm, and now i have to wait more time! i guess stuart feels that because petersons has been there a long time, that they dont need the business from me anymore! SHAMEFULL such treatment of a faithfull customer!!

found the gun store on line, called, they had a CZ we wanted. We drove up from Polk City (near Lakeland)-easy drive, great folks to do business with. Reasonable price. Easy to talk to and work with. Excellent experience - well worth the search and hour or so drive. Karen and Jim in central Florida.

Completely unreasonable people. I drove 2 hours to purchase a firearm that had been sitting on their shelf for 2 months and wanted to incorporate a trade into the deal, in which the shop would make over $150. Stewart (shop owner) declined without hesitation. Go back to business school Stewy..

Great customer service, great selection. Purchased over 10 guns from Petersons in the past 2 years and will continue to do so. Gunsmiths on hand, huge selection of ammo. SKS AND 1911 on layaway currently. No reason to go elsewhere. I drive an hour to get here
