Two years ago I decided to try a different eyewear company other than the one I had been going to for many years in Mariemont. I went to Holte and bought a pair of glasses for $600. They were under warranty for only one year, which I understood, but I didnt think they would go very wrong after one year was up. After wear, the lenses are now scratched and the glass arm fell off. As they were not under warranty, I went to someone to see if they could repair them. They werent able to as it appear there was a defect in the manufacturing which prevents a normal repair. (The arm came off but the screw remains inside.) I took them to Holte for some assistance. They have a very fancy building and their front desk is stocked with several pretty young ladies who stand around chatting with each other. When I asked for assistance, they looked up when I bought my glasses and said there was nothing they could do as the warranty was up. (I told them up front I thought I had them for a year and a half at least and the warranty was up.) They didnt offer ANY other advise on how I can get them repaired. (One of the young ladies at least did look at the glass arm and was puzzled as to the break. The rudest of the girls looked at it and pretty much dismissed it. "It snapped and nothing can be done as it is no longer on warranty.") I said well I certainly regret coming here. They agreed! Not very happy, I said I am never coming back here and the young lady smugly said, "No, you dont have to." No attempt to try to keep a customer! They just returned to their chatting. I will return to my original eye doctor and buy my glasses from there. When things go wrong, they make an attempt to help. I didnt want my glasses replaced, I just wanted to know how I can get them repaired. I guess they can hire a bunch of useless staff because they charge a lot for their glasses and offer no services. I do not recommend this company. There are better ones out there who try to keep customers and dont hire smug staff.

I visited Holte Eyewear to get my new glasses not knowing really even what I wanted. Bobbie was incredibly helpful, and Ryan set me up with a REAL nice pair of glasses. The staff was polite, professional and incredibly friendly. The technology is advanced, the office is nice, it just feels like a place where you get the finest, of everything, a real 5 star shop.

Excellent opticians, Ive never had to wait. The eyeglass side of the business is top shelf. From reasonable to high end frames. They are very professional and they bend over backwards to give you great service. Id been going to Lensecrafters but Im glad I tried this location. Now they know me by name.
