So my wife and I bought a pool in the fall of 2015. We bought a 24 because that is what we could afford. The salesman we were working with steered me away from a DE filter and convinced me to buy a cartidge. He told us it was the better option. We received a call that they sold our pool before we had it installed but they would upgrade us to the 27 at no extra charge. This seemed like a nice gesture! We installed the pool in September so we only hooked the pump up to circulate the closing chemicals. Everything seemed to work out ok. The following year, about 2 months into the season, our pool got green. No matter what we did we couldnt get it clean. Ended up talking with Tony the owner and he gave us a voucher to get a new filter the next year. We got the pool as swimmable as possible and suffered through the rest of the season. Now its 2017 and my pool is still cloudy. I talked with Tony again to try again to trade in my filter for the DE filter. He keeps telling me that there is nothing wrong with the unit. I have now called an independent pool company to see what is wrong. They tested the water and inspected the system. Water is fine (as it has been all along) and tell me they recommend DE filters to all their customers. So they told me the only way to keep my pool clear is to buy a different filter, the one we wanted originally. So in summary, they sell you an undersized cartridge filter when you buy a new pool to sell you more chemicals and then tell you that you are wrong in the end. I highly recommend in taking your business to a place that treats you like a customer and not a comission.

Well we bought a pool from Tony the manager I had asked how long to be installed he said and I quote 2 to 3 weeks. Well it is going on 7 weeks. The bad experience started with the delivery of the pool. They called me and made an appointment to deliver between the hours of 9am to 1 pm. At 1:15 they still hadnt delivered the pool. So I called them they informed me that they were coming between 4 and 6 pm. I asked them why did u tell me 9 to 1. Oh were sorry we made a mistake. So I missed a whole day of work for there mistake. I called Tony the manager to let him know what was going on. He said Im sorry. Great excuse. After the pool was delivered 2 weeks later penny the pool installer contact person told me they would be calling me on June 12 Sunday to set up installation for that week. Well guess what they never called. So the moral to the story go somewhere else. All they do is lie. They take your money and they dont care. My next step is to contact the better business Bureau.

Purchased a pool was told pay $50 -$100 down and balance due day before delivery. I was told that scheduling would call me within 2 days to set up delivery and installation. Was told by sales rep that pool would be installed around 1st week of may. Never got a call from scheduling... I called them 5 days later and was told we arent scheduling anyone who bought pools in April we are just now scheduling purchases made in March. I contacted sales rep he stated if you had put more of a down payment then maybe you could get the pool before middle of june. The next day I went to the store and canceled my order. Three different people wanted me to explain repeatedly why I was canceling my order. Its been three weeks since this started and today scheduling called me to set up delivery before she realized I had canceled my order.

Advising everyone not to shop at Great Escape in Canton, OH. We ordered and paid for furniture and the next day said they could not sell it to us for that price. I told them that they ALREADY sold it to us when they placed the order and we PAID! I firmly believe they need to honor this sale! I have talked to the salesman, store manager and regional manager. I am appalled at the customer service of this company. Their attitude has been crass and they insinuate that we are thieves and trying to take advantage of them. They have insulted my character and completely disregarded the fact that poor customer service will impact their business. They are pretending to be victims that I am stealing from! Everyone should take their business elsewhere!!

Bought a patio set, big one, for $2500 and was told it was Sunbrella quality. My 3 year old real Sunbrella stuff purchased elsewhere is still 100% water resistent, holds shape and hasnt faded one bit. The fake sunbrella that The Great Escape sells is no where near the quality. Under one year and the faric is faded, water soaks right in and takes days to dry, the pillows have lost shape and are basically blobs and the cushion wrap under the fabric has turned to dust and gets on everything. The frame has stood up so far but does already have rust although I was told it was all aluminum. Aluminum doesnt rust! Never again will I buy fake or anything from The Great Escape claiming to sell Sunbrella quality stuff.

Went here to buy a hot tub. Went in 2 weeks ago and was told to come back over labor day for more savings. Went in 1 week later to make sure thats the one we wanted, only to be told by a different person that there is no such sale and if we didnt like it, to go elsewhere. So we are. I would rather pay more and be respected than to get a deal and be treated like sh**! Never will I go in this place again or any of my friends.

We purchased and pool from pat late this summer and had a great experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and didnt sell you on anything you didnt need. The price and quality was great. We recently purchased a new spa from tony and again had great service and answered any questions we had. Thanks again!
