My wife and I were looking forward to celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary on May 15th, 2016. As the day approached, I decided I wanted to do something special for her and get her a nice piece of jewelry to commemorate our special day. I stopped at our local mall to view the jewelry in a couple jewelry stores and were told in both "you can look around and let us know if you are interested in anything". I am big on customer service and was really discouraged with the service I received. I listen to a local sports radio show that does commercials for Bookman and Sons and one of the things they stress was the customer service and the ability for Josh to make one of a kind pieces of jewelry. I figured it wouldnt hurt to at least check out the website but I wasnt too excited since I live an hour and a half away from his store. Upon checking out the website, I found an email address and decided to send an email to let Josh know we were going to be celebrating our anniversary and what I was looking to do. I was hoping to hear from him within a couple of days. I emailed him from work at 8:23pm and could not believe when I received a response back from Josh himself at 8:43 pm....the SAME DAY. He told me he would be more then happy to help me out and asked what I had in mind. Instead of getting into an email conversation, I decided to call the store 2 days later. I couldnt believe when I called and Josh himself answered the phone. I told him who I was and he remembered. I explained to Josh that I was willing to come up to the store if he thought he could help me. He told me he realized it was quite a drive for me and said he would try to save me a trip so we started a conversation on the phone. He asked me several questions about my wife....what she liked? whats important to her?, what kind of jewelry she liked?, etc. After a few minutes, Josh told me he had an idea and would email me a picture in a few minutes which he did. The picture he sent was perfect. I talked to him about my budget which I was concerned with because Im sure he has other clients that spend much more then me, but he made me feel like it was no issue at all. He made what I wanted fit into the budget we talked about. Im sure Josh is very busy, but the time he spent with me on the phone and the service he gave me, I felt like I was the only customer he had. Needless to say, I made the hour and a half drive to Brecksville to make a deposit on my wifes new necklace and Josh had it done a week later. I cant say enough about the service I received, not only at the beginning of our transaction, but all the way through to the end. It may be an hour and a half drive, but I will definitely be going back to Bookman and Sons in the future for any special jewelry purchases I need to make. Thanks Josh for your great customer service. If you havent given Bookman and Sons a chance, you should. Absolutely fantastic.

First of all, I am a sports fan. "Fan" being short for "fanatic". I didnt know much about engagement rings except for the fact that they are round like a basketball or a baseball or a soccer ball or a ...( insert any round ball you would like). I did hear something about the, " 4 Cs?". Clarity..., and 3 other Cs I dont even remember. Buddies of mine even laughed at me when I mentioned I was going to start to shop around for an engagement ring and they asked about how much I was planning on spending. They are both married and had been through the whole process already. This made me feel a little uncomfortable and uneasy about purchasing this ring ; which I had been under the assumption of - "How hard can it be?". Well, like I said previously, Im a big sports fan and have been hearing Uncle Rizz and others on the "Really Big Show" mention Bookman and Sons time and time again. Rizz would always go on and on about how Josh will take of you. So I decided if Tony, Aaron, Casey and the others would speak so highly of this guy, Josh; then Ill give him a try. Best move I could have ever made. Went in without much knowledge of rings, an idea of about how much I wanted to spend, and a few pictures the little lady so graciously provided me with to ensure she received the ring of her liking. When I walked in, Josh quickly ended a meeting he was having with some of the sales and marketing individuals from ESPN the Radio and focused on nothing but me and my needs. He patiently walked me through everything, and I mean everything. He took a look at the pics of rings I had on my phone; we discussed the pricing, the 4Cs, and it was long at all until he found the perfect ring for me. I mean HER. All at a price I could afford. We actually spent more time standing around talking after I decided to purchase the ring. It had to be a good 30 to 45 minutes. We touched on everything from small talk to family values to, of course, sports. It just confirmed my belief that Josh was, indeed, a good-hearted, genuine person that I felt good about giving my business to. Josh definitely helped me out. I wont go as far as to say, I guarantee you will walk out of Bookman and Sons with the ring of your dreams. You might not even walk out with a ring at all. But, I will say - I highly recommend stopping in here first. The treatment you receive and the knowledge you gain is well worth it. You might end up like me. And have it be the first and only place you have to go. Thank you again, Josh, for making this experience not nearly as painful as I thought it might turn out to be and actually making it a very enjoyable afternoon. And a Big thank you to all the guys on the Really Big Show for turning me on to Bookman and Sons. - Robert from Uniontown

I have a diamond tennis bracelet that has tremendous sentimental value (it was the last gift I received from my husband before he passed away very suddenly almost 20 years ago at the age of 39). After being worn 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for almost 15 years, it had been repaired (links re-soldered) so many times that it literally broke into several pieces and needed more extensive repair before it could be worn without worrying about further breakage and possibly losing it. I have taken the bracelet to several local jewelers (both in my local mall and privately owned jewelry stores). Although they were mostly polite, none of them seemed to understand how important THIS bracelet was to me – they recommended (and sometimes pushed) that I simply buy a new one to replace it, or trade it in towards the purchase of a new bracelet. After explaining to one mall jewelry store staff person why the bracelet had so much meaning to me, she actually suggested I could have my diamond engagement ring placed into a new setting so that it would be more meaningful. (I should mention that I was wearing my engagement and wedding rings at the time – as I still do). The broken bracelet sat in my jewelry box for several years – but after hearing about the extraordinary service and care provided to clients at Bookman & Sons, I decided it was worth a try. When I stopped in and explained what I needed, I was immediately introduced to Jeff Bookman as the person who would be doing any work on my jewelry. Jeff LISTENED and offered a couple options – both of which would retain the integrity of the sentiment behind my late husband’s gift. I can honestly say it took me several minutes to decide what to do – Jeff did not push or make me feel like I had to make a decision right away. In the end, I had Jeff re-set all the diamonds from the old bracelet into a new identical bracelet setting. I also asked him to resize my engagement/wedding rings. The result is an absolutely stunning bracelet – every bit as beautiful as when it was first given to me. My wedding/engagement rings have also been resized and restored to their former beauty. I had the pleasure of meeting Josh Bookman when I picked up the bracelet – and found him to be just as genuine and kind as his dad, Jeff. I am so happy to be able to wear these meaningful pieces of jewelry again with confidence. I give Bookman & Sons my highest recommendation. Yes, I drove almost 40 minutes each way to get to their store – it was absolutely worth the drive.
