UND Bookstores return and price-matching policies are simply awful. Save yourself the headache and just buy on Amazon. Seriously. Having dealt with UND Bookstore today, it is simply not worth the stress. Although they price match, they overly-complicate the process of price-matching. Most businesses just match the price and charge your funding source for that price. Sounds simple enough, right? ... Nope. Not here at the UND Bookstore. For example, they charge your funding source the full price and then put the difference on an in-store gift card. Mind you, you cant *EVER* use that card, or other cards they issue you, for another transaction that involves a discount or price-match. In short, you can only use the gift card for full-price items, where they price gouge you for textbooks and merchandise. Because their return/price matching process is overly complex, the cashier was getting impatient because of the length of time it was taking her to complete the task. She had to obtain manager approval, input the information into the system through a very specific way, and when she made a mistake then she had to start the whole process over again. Meanwhile, the line was getting rather long from other students who were returning their items to and there was only 1 cashier who was trained to handle returns at any given time. The cashier became frustrated and impatient with me - like it was somehow the customers fault that she could not do her job correctly, make errors, and the complex steps she had to take was resulted in longer waiting times. Feedback: Maybe UND Bookstore should (1) not blame your customers for your own inefficiencies (2) employ people who are trained properly (3) employ enough staff members to handle returns (4) have a price-matching policy that doesnt require customers to jump through ridiculous hoops (5) simplify the number of steps to price match and (6) remove payment method restrictions for price match merchandise. In the meantime, avoid this store at all costs. Save yourself the headache and just buy your school supplies elsewhere.

Chegg and Amazon. Buy from either of those two and youll get: 1) Prices that are easily 20+% cheaper than UND bookstore. Amazon textbooks "new" will be about $25 dollars cheaper compared to the bookstore. Amazon and Chegg also do rentals that are as simple as dropping off a package at the post office. The renting service offered from both parties are also cheaper then UND bookstore. 2) You will get the textbook in under a week. On 4 different occasions Ive been waiting for a "backordered" textbook for anywhere from 3 week to 8 weeks (HALF THE SEMSETER). 1 of those textbooks was even from UND so they just needed to print it off. Their "Price-match" comes in the form of a gift card that you must spend in store on items at full price.

A good bookstore with a wide array of books, textbooks and class supplies, including a section on Aviation Supplies and Medical Gear. The bookstore also comprised of lots of UND gear, with shirts, hats, jackets and mugs, with alot more scattered around. The customer service is great, with a knowledgeable staff, but comes at a price. The bookstore also has a in-house coffee shop with good coffee.

Wonderful and friendly staff. The bookstore is very busy at rush, if you want to combat the never ending flow of students order and/or pick up your books ahead of time. Also if you plan on picking up your order in store, make sure that the bookstore has notified you that your order is in, no one wants to wait in line for an hour only to find that their books arent in.

UND book store has messed up my book order probably 1/ 3 of the time. If you are getting text books here they will cost more and you will get them much slower. If they say that your book is being ordered ask for a refund because it is going to take an extremely long time for them to get the book. I suggest that you use the website Chegg it is half the price and fast.

Almost every time the workers are extremely rude and unwilling to help. The prices are ridiculously more expensive than most other places. A worker told me I needed a 400$ book package and I wouldnt be able to do the course without it. The instructor didnt want half of the things she sold me and I wasnt able to return them. Avoid shopping here at all measures.

Each time I have been in the UND bookstore I am treated disrespectfully, especially by their young manager. I expressed to them that I felt disrespected and that I planned to report to the person above him about the poor respect towards customers and I kid you not the manager responded with: "fine and I dont care."

Higher prices than Amazon or other rental services, they oftentimes do not have the book available, and when they finally get it in they do not bother sending an email or calling you. I have been waiting for a month for my textbook, only to find out it came in a week ago.

Would not answer the phones after I was sold ebooks for my classes. The pin number didnt work and they would not answer the phone at all. Dont waste your time here and please save your money and go else where

Only come here if you ABSOLUTELY need to. You are guaranteed to find better prices elsewhere, and at the beginning of the semester you might have to wait 1-2 hours in line for your course materials.

For school merch its a good place, but just buy your books online. The wait times at the beginning of the semesters are long and the basic supplies are pretty overpriced.

Awful. Overpriced, always out of books, always a rediculous line to buy. And DO NOT rent from them, even if you are a day late they take you to collections.

As a "campus" bookstore, this place needs improvement. Prices are skyhigh and many things are out of stock. Save money and buy your books online.

Order your books online from Barnes and Noble or Amazon, you can usually get up to 50% off on the texts you are looking for.
