Omg was in Beauty world looking at wig units yesterday and I over heard one of the customers talking about they had cancer and wanted to try on a few wigs. So she went on trying them on and ended up narrowing it down to one but she wasnt to sure if she really wanted to pay that much for her first wig as she stated she had never had to wear one until she got sick and lose her hair. Well the girl that was helping her ask the lady to wait and minute went away in the back some where. She then came back with some one Im guessing look to be the manager. The manager went on talking to the woman with the cancer and at the end told her we Beauty World would like to give you your first wig for free. Omg my hearted melted. I love this store. If you dont go to any other beauty supply go to Beauty World they are differently here for the love of the people.

Never shop here!!!!!! Never in 58 years have I been treated with discrimination. Shoe is on the other foot. The employees ignored us. Searching for the perfect look is hard enough let alone 30 year young going bald..no signs stating rules that you cant do anything, yet no ones offers help. Suddenly a woman appears and broke the heart of a dear soul. Employee" IVY" was rude and very confrontational. I guess she expected us to complain because from the back of the store she shouted her name, IVY. This employee should be taught why she has a job. Many nice people in the world and just one insult will cause hard feelings. This lady should be called "Poison IVY" Stay away from North side shopping center and Beauty world!!!

I am new in town and found Beauty World online. I was skeptical of what kind of service I would receive due to the to good to be true prices that were listed. When I arrived I was so overwhelmed by the many options I had available, and I needed a professional to hold my hand through the process. I am glad to note that Christy, a newly appointed Beautician/Clerk, was enthusiastically willing to help me. She walked me through the products I needed for the look I was trying to achieve. I made an appointment to have her style my hair, and she did not disappoint! I am so happy that she was there to offer great customer service and excellent styling skills.

So I got an unopened wig and a pack of hair from this location. I needed to exchange the hair, you could tell I hadnt opened the wig package. I repeatedly tried to explain this to the Asian lady at the counter, She was very rude and called me out. Telling me that I may have opened up the package and resealed it. what??? I read the receipt. Both packages were unopened and unused. I didnt appreciate her talking down to me. Your in a black neighborhood, and .it was racism.

Quick weave ponytail - It was my daughters prom weekend and she wanted a ponytail, I went in and asked for assistance the staff was very helpful and I was able to make an appoint and have her hair done in the same day. Im sorry I cant remember the young ladies name who did her hair , but she was very polite, professional and did a wonderful job! Thank you for making my daughter smile! T

I love beauty world its so convenient! They have everything you can think of from hair, hair products, cosmetics, personal products and clothing. ITS A ONE STOP SHOP! Their staff is very friendly and knowledgable. They welcome everyone with a warm welcome. They not only give good service and help they give you honest advice. I love Beaity world!!!!

I love Beauty World! Beauty World has the best customer service. there is always someone to help when Im looking for a hair product, or answer a hair related question. All the employees are very knowledgeable and cheerful. Every experience Ive had with there has been very pleasant. Without a doubt, this is the best beauty store in the triad!

Dont get your weave nor weave installed. I pay a lot of money for some cheap weave. It was suppose to be 5A virgin weave and my hair was matting the week after and my weave was falling out the next. I would not recommend anyone to go here. I paid 75 dollar for six tracks. It would of cost me 95 dollars for two more tracks.

This place has got to be the nicest hair store in Winston! They just remodeled the store, and the wig fitting area looks so classy. The staff is friendly and helpful and prices are reasonable, especially with all the coupons and offers. If you havent been there lately, go check them out, its like a brand new store!

I give Beauty World five stars without a doubt. They have the best product selection and are the ONLY beauty supply store that allows a customer to exchange or return an item for their money back. The makeup selection is top notch and are reasonable prices. I stay beautiful at Beauty World.

I absolutely adore this place. It has a wide variety of hair and hair products. Makeup. Clothes. Shoes. Hats. Scarfs. Anything cosmetic it has it. It even has a salon at the back of the building. They also sell shoes. Love love love!
