I had a great buying experience with Wilmington Wine! I live out of town but wanted to send some wine to a friend there in Wilmington who is receiving chemo treatments and has lost her taste for almost everything except wine. John Willse was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make and deliver a lovely wine basket to my friend at an extremely reasonable price! In a time where good customer service seems to be the exception rather than the norm, I felt that Wilmington Wine definitely went above and beyond my expectations! My friend was thrilled and that made me so happy. I would definitely recommend Wilmington Wine and will be certain to stop by the next time I am there.

I stopped in for a beer and while they have a decent selection I felt that both the patrons and the lady running the counter made me feel very unwelcome. I was served my beer without a "hello" or "how are you" and was ignored the rest of the time I was there. I wouldnt recommend coming there if you dont know someone who works there or owns it.

We came in on a friends recommendation for the Friday wine tasting. So glad we did, because as it turned out we ended up buying 2 bottles in addition to the bottle we decided to enjoy there and becoming friends with Beth and John. We have been back many times and Im excited to try some of the new Sake selection hes been talking about.
